The hotel is right next to the pier where the boats from the mainland will drop you off. The rooms are comfortable and clean and perfect for resting up after exploring the island.
Personally for me the location was perfect, it was like having your own pocket of space on the island and the drives to all of the beaches across the island are beautiful.
The hosts are very hospitable and will make your stay at the island truly wonderful.

The resort is extremely well positioned and my room was fantastic (D7). Staff are lovely, always good to have good communication at front of house, but my gratitude goes also for behind the scene staff, cleaners, gardeners, cooks. I very much enjoyed my stay, granted in low and wet season, it does have its charms (more private and peaceful). Thank you to all. Please care for my favourite doggy 😄

Beautiful nature, amazing beaches.
Beautiful nature, amazing beaches. But if you want to explore the island you need a scooter. Some little shops with stuff you need, but nothing special.
It is a remote island without big infrastructure, so i enjoyed the feeling of a bit adventure. And as i mentioned, the nature was spectaculous.

This is a stunning and beautiful resort in Ko Kood.
This is a stunning and beautiful resort in Ko Kood. It is the most lovely place I’ve ever been. The bungalow we were given is on its own little island with a fantastic view of the sea. We loved it so much we were really pleased to be able to stay longer.
The staff are really kind and were always available to help with anything. It is great to swim here as the water is clear and you can see fish swimming in it. The fire show was great fun. We liked some food more than others but loved the banana pancakes.
We’d definitely come again if the opportunity arose.

Ko Kood is advertised as an unspoilt island paradise, in my opinion, it is not. The arrival/departure pier is a mess, too much rubbish, not the welcome sight I was expecting. The 20-30 minute drive from the pier to the resort let us see a good part of the island. Most buildings, restaurants, hostels looked ‘tired’ - perhaps this is a post-pandemic situation. You have to be comfortable riding a scooter (and have insurance as the roads are quite steep and windy) to explore the island. I only ate at the Koh Kood Resort, which I found was not value for money, the portion sizes were small. The beach was safe and the water clear, I was expecting more fish. The resort’s facilities were adequate but I was expecting better. As an older, disabled person, I would not recommend the resort or island as a suitable place to visit. I would not visit Koh Kood again. For me, Koph Chang is a better option as you can take your car on the island.

Wonderful, had whole beaches to ourselves, friendly people a world away from Bangkok. Easy to get about on a scooter even for first timers. Bring sturdy shoes for waterfalls though. Great snorkeling locations too

This place is literally a paradise.
This place is literally a paradise. Get on a scooter and ride through jungle tracks to find deserted beaches, sea is pale blue just like in the pictures. Hardly any traffic at all, no banging music and crazy people, seems like everyone there is there for relax.
I loved it and am going back for more.

The beach was one of the best in my life.
The beach was one of the best in my life. Crystal clear water and sandy beach. The beach in front of my hotel was really great (Bang Bao Beach or something)
However, it was not easy for getting there and getting around especially during long holiday. The speedboat to the island was expensive and very bad management on the sitting (no reservation seat). You have to park at their parking lot and sitting on shuttle carts to the pier. When you reach the island, they offered free delivery service but you have to be "packed" on a truck with strangers for quite a long ride (>20 mins) to up and down road to my hotel.
The food here was very nice. However, most restaurant trend to take very long time before the food would arrive.
Everything! The staff are amazing, they make you feel like family. The location is breathtaking, its like being in the middle of a rainforrest but at the beach, the sounds of the birds and the rain it was amazing. Also very handy shop nearby.
The food was the best Ive ever experienced in any hotel.
In addition to High Season staff, every other person I met on Koh Kood was so kind, friendly and helpful. It is a wonderful community.
Koh Kood is our favourite Island in Thailand. We've been here for over a month and love Koh Kood however this accommodation is the worst option in Koh Kood. We spent 3 nights here and the staff and owners are really rude and unhelpful. There are many other nicer, friendlier and welcoming options all around Koh Kood. If you would like to really enjoy your time and make the most out of Koh Kood I suggest that you don't stay here.
This place has been the highlight of our trip around Thailand, and we have just booked to come back for three weeks again. The bungalows are lovely, the bay that the hotel is located in is just perfect for swimming and kayaking, and the staff are absolutely wonderful. If you appreciate nature and peace and quiet, I cannot recommend this place enough.
There are no words to express my pleasure of having stayed in this bungalow complex. Besides the very nice design, the staff is wonderful. They are friendly, always smiling, and ready to fulfill any wish, day or night. Hoteliers in Europe would do well to take lessons from those in Thailand. A wonderful memory from them!
