one of the best experiences to stay in front of the sea with a balcony. we could even go night swim because there was nobody at the beach. The sea there is cleaner then most of the beach on the island. the room is really big with two beds. Very quiet in the night

The staff is so kind, helpful and there for anything you need. We stayed at 6 different places during our stay in Thailand and i would have been more then happy to stay there the entire time. the food and breakfast spread was absolutely to die for, we didn't eat anywhere but there!

We spent three days as a couple in the bungalow. The view of the sea, cliffs, and Haad Rin was absolutely stunning. The room was small but clean and cozy. It could use more shelves and hangers for clothes, though. The veranda with a hammock and a bench was perfect for evening conversations with the soothing sound of the sea.

Haad Rin is the really one of the nicest beaches on the island. A great place to spend the day playing volleyball or sipping cocktails. During Full Moon Party its crazy fun but they clean up the beach super fast in the morning and its back to a clean, beautiful beach.

Haad Rin town is of course right next to the Beach where Full Moon happens. The town has plenty of eateries and massage joints and - gym. The beach of course is beautiful and the bars open up with comfortable pillows to eat and drink and lounge during the evenings.
I have stayed there twice: during the Full Moon period the place is packed and lively with people, when the Full Moon is not on the place is very quiet and quite a number of shops close. Sort of boom or bust cycle. To be honest unless you are there for Full Moon I would stay else where on the island (eg Sri Thanu) or Samui and just come over for the party. I would have thought ride share (Grab, Uber, Bolt, Didi) would have made it to Ko Phangan by 2023 but the local taxi mafia still rules and getting around is costs a lot more than Samui.
Do not, for Gods sake, rent a scooter unless you have a license, are experienced driver and have comprehensive insurance. The hill coming in and out of Haad Rin has seen many crashes and the loss of skin on legs: known as the Ko Phangan tattoo.
very nice hotel, we liked everything! great location directly at the beach and near the full moon party, great pool with good music, perfectly clean rooms and facilities. the hotel gym is also good. breakfast and food is delicious. the staff is very very friendly. we had a small issue with the AC in the room, but got offered another room directly and the manager even offered us one night for free. we stayed two days longer than planned. can only recommend Explorar!
The location is perfect if you are going to Koh Phangan for the Full Moon party!! The hostel is on the far end of the beach with a lovely view. It's all within walking distance but still a little out of the way. The hostel is clean and they offer a great food menu. The hostel is located at the top of a hill but the staff were very helpful and carried the bags directly to the room.
The resort is in an incredible location. The front beach is the best place to stay and have a great time in Koh Phangan. The water is so calm, and the beach is empty, with only guests from the resort. Besides, the resort is excellent, and the bedroom and bathroom are big enough to make you feel good during your stay. Lastly, the staff are friendly and helpful.
Great view of the sea from the top of the cliff! While the town seems very party-crowd oriented, the hotel had a more relaxing atmosphere and the best (red and green) curry to try! The hosts were perfectly welcoming, arranged free pick up and drop off from the Haad Rin pier, and allowed to use their beach towel after checking out.
Booked this for the Full moon party, location wise your 30 secs away from the beach. Really nice hotel & very friendly staff. They also sorted a taxi for us to explore the island. There's not much to do in Haad Rin however for 700 THB each way you can go to the west of the island & explore there
Right on Haad Rin beach so great if you are there for the full moon party. there is a way to get to it from the back in a car or taxi so dont be me dragging the suitcase on the beach ;) the rooms are private separate almost villa like with their own terrace. staff is very helpful.
Really social hostel with a great atmosphere for the jungle + full moon parties! Location was only a few mins walk from Haad Rin beach which was very handy. Really liked all the different places to sit in the common areas (especially the beanbags!).

Beautiful room right on the beach! Wonderful hotel with an excellent location. The breakfast buffet was amazing and the swim up bar was a nice touch. They also did our clothes for us and arranged our shuttle to the ferry and our tickets.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, the location of the hotel was fantastic and within walking distance of Haad Rin Nai Beach, all the while being very private. The ammenities including the pool were clean and modern.
The hostel is right on the beach, you’ll have an incredible view and comfortable terrace for guests. Comfortable, clean and spacious beds with curtains which is rare for Koh Phangan’s hostels. Friendly staff!
