We stayed in this hotel while we were in Phuket for the marathon. So we knew we would not travel heavily but enjoy the passive vacation. This hotel provided everything we needed on-site: a delicious breakfast buffet, good dining options, SPA with a great masseuse, swimming pool, gym, sauna and beach nearby.
In the beginning, they warned us that there might be noise due to the construction nearby, but the rooms were soundproof enough and we were not bothered at all.

What a fantastic hotel!
We spent 4 nights here and had the best time. We came to BangTao to train Muay Thai at BangTao Muay Thai which is super close to Sole Mio. Only a short 10 minute walk. There is a Top Daily only a 2 minute walk away which is very convenient.
The facilities at the hotel are amazing, the gym is fully equipped with cardio machines, dumb bells, a cable machine and a smith machine.
If you need to recover from your tough workouts at BangTao Muay Thai then the hotel has a Sauna, Steam Room and an Ice room all included in the price of your stay!
The rooms are so clean, the bed is comfortable, the wifi works perfectly, the TV is huge and has the ability to stream your Netflix.
The staff are so lovely, we were always greeted with a huge smile from everyone! Oh and make sure you get the buffet breakfast, it was fantastic, with heaps of options.
We will be coming back to Sole Mio that’s for sure!!

The local people at the beach were also very helpful, providing information on directions, facilities, etc. Also the restaurants at the beach were reasonably priced for such a lovely location. Also some of the bars/restaurants had live entertainment - Music, Beach artist, ie: Fire Dancers! :)

Bang Tao beach is close to the airport - perfect for a shorter trip to Phuket so you don't spend as much time in the car. Clean beach with tons of cafes and restaurants. Also super close to the Green Elephant Sanctuary - top notch sanctuary to visit and interact with the elephants.

It’s An Amazing Beach. The Nomad restaurant is one of the best. Amonde’ the Manager and his staff are AWESOME. Just as Your entering Nomad restaurant from the street is a glass room. Inside is an older man who does therapy massage. He’s a very healing man. He works for whatever you want to give. I suggest that You give a lot. It’s a must if your body is in Pain.

Great value little place on Phuket. The owner was the highlight of our stay here as she was so kind to us, did our laundry for an amazing price and even greeted us with fresh coconuts on our first night. The house was clean and comfortable with a nice double bed, compact bathroom, great shower, rail for hanging clothing, a fridge and table. It's located only a 5-minute walk from Bang Tao beach, restaurants and a handy 7-eleven, but is quite a distance from other touristy points on the island like Phuket and Patong towns.
Our original booking at another hotel cancelled on us last minute, so we had to quickly rebook at Diamond. They were able to accommodate us right away and had the rooms ready. Everyone was extremely friend and helpful. Unfortunately, we came when Phuket had a typhoon, so it was extremely rainy and muddy. We had so many luggages, but they were able to help us get it all out and to our room. They gave us some juice while we were checking in and even showed us to our room.
We didn't have to worry about anything.
We had a wonderful stay at the Banyan Tree Phuket at the Grand Two-Bedroom Pool Villa. The villa was spacious and had a private pool, and the service at the resort was excellent. The food and service at the resort were also top-notch. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing vacation.

This small hotel is perfect for people looking for a relaxing holiday. It is located in a residential neighborhood, thus far from noisy places or people, and nearby both Surin and Bang Tao beaches. It's also very clean, well maintained, and a very nice breakfast is offered every day. On top of all this, the owners are the sweetest and nicest people one could wish to meet in the holidays, talkative and always willing to help! I recommend Similan Hotel without a doubt!
This was our favorite place we stayed in Thailand! The owners have thought of every detail, from providing beach towels to the well-stocked outdoor kitchen on your balcony. The room was spotless, comfortable and the AC was cold! It's a short walk to the beach, restaurants, massage, and convenience store. We had a motorbike and rarely used it during our stay as everything was so close. This particular beach was the best easy-access ones we went to as well.

Not too far from the airport and fulfilled our needs perfectly: Eco friendly, outstanding staff, and amazing facilities, especially the gym (exceptional). Really appreciated the hotel staff contacting us in advance about minor construction near by, as they are expanding (which didn’t bother at all). Thank you, we will return for sure.

This is an OK hotel if you have kids and are on a budget. It feels like being in a dorm or something. The girls at check in are super sweet but once you have checked in you are on your own. Nobody will help with your bags, nobody will deliver ice to your room… super basic.
The room was big and clean, with fridge, microwave, and kettle available. The house is in a quiet, countryside area and mosquito-free. It is about 15 min walk from Bang Tao beach. The host was very friendly and gave me a ride to my next destination after I checked out.
During my stay I had chance to extend my stay in Phuket, so I have went to other hotels to compare , none of them were comparable, so I extended my stay in dusit Thani.
Ocean beach was broader than others, and more nature
It was nice, quite oasis with clean pool and palm trees around. Shuttle from resort to beach as well as to nearby shopping area was great additional service, we used it a lot. Staff was nice and helpful.
