I think this was one of the most luxurious places we stayed, for low budget. It had hot water, rooms with equiped kitchen, comfy beds, TV (well sao tome only has 2 channels I believe), fan, good breakfast....
The owners are very hard workers and welcoming. We would have liked to stay more time here.

Great place to stay. The rooms have AC and the pool is nice and refreshing. Kenito speaks English which is very helpful and he made our trip much much easier. He arranged a car rental for us. When we broke down on the side of the road and called him, he immediately sent someone with another car to switch with us. Highly recommend!

Breakfast was fine - nothing special. Room was clean. Neighborhood was visually not pleasant. However, the whole city is that way. One would not come to visit the city. The people are very friendly and it is a safe city.

One example: We went on an early hike and would've missed breakfast. So the staff prepared us sandwiches and fruit to take with!
Power might go out time by time (NOT the Lodge's fault), but the Eden Valley team and its generator work magic.
