I am a regular visitor here and in Rogla ski centre. If I weren't satisfied the services or the landscape, I wouldn't come here so often. It is good for hiking, bathing, relaxing and skiing-snowboarding.
I haven't been here in spring or in the summer but I am plannig as it must be beautiful then
I had breakfast and dinner at my hotel (ReActive). I used my car but there is a busline up the mountain of Rogla. You can also reach Gorenje easily from here.

There are many things you can visit, see and do in Zreče and its surroundings. Take a bath in Terme, visit Rogla and Pot med krošnjami Pohorje, take a walk around Zreče lake, visit a mini ZOO, have a historic experience at Žička Kartuzija, visit ruins of castle in woods or have a day filled with sports activities, cycling etc.

I am a regular visitor in Zrece, ie. in Rogla. I recron it is a nice area for skiers, hikers and those who like nature or 'Sauna-world'. It is quite easy to reach from the High Way.
Rogla (ski centre) is about 20 minutes up by car but there are ski-buses regularly. Maribor (the second largest city in Slovenia) is only about an hour from Zrece.
On the top of Rogla there is a new Tree-top walking, a 37-metre high tower with a picturesque view to the surroundig hills and Julia Alps. I can also recommend that. The entrance fee is 10 Euros

The area around Zrece is amazing. Heaps to do. The new forest tower walk is close by as is the space centre. The visitor centre was very very helpful and sent me on an amazing trip around the area that planned in with my next destination. They were so much more helpful than the LJ information center. I would definitely go back for a couple of days and have more of a look around.
Location (close to the street and yet silence at night - room 203), breakfast (self service), hosts (friendly, responsive), big and clean room and bathroom for 1-2 person, comfortable beds (so rare these days!), parking place, elevator, air condition, nice balcony, wifi excellent in the room, restaurant and bakery next door (open also on Sundays), spa&pool across the street.
Zrece were not crowded with tourists (June 2022), close to Rogla, nice walks in nature, lake.
Excellent relaxation for 3 nights!
I liked a lot the hotel staff! They were all very helpful and very flexible with different requests. We also loved the fact that they have electrical bikes at the hotel so we could easily rent them for half a day. Nevertheless, we prolonged our stay with 1 more day because we liked it so much. :)
Breakfast is good and the rooms are very clean.
The location is also a great exploration point for the Pohorje area. Zrece is great for hiking and cycling trails as well!
Staff is very friendly and helpful. Communication via messages and phone was smooth.
Spa section is excellent for calm relaxation, pre-booking the sauna ensures that you can enjoy it without others disturbing you, great solution!
Breakfast and dinner are fine, there is a variety of choices for each meal.
Bar offers drinks and coffee, wines are available to buy.
Bed is comfy, much better than usual 3-star hotel beds.
Parking is available on site.
Excellent accomodation with grand, modern, clean and well decorated rooms. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and there was a various selection of dishes. Hotel is situated about 20 kilomeres from ski lift, so it's perfect choice for winter vacation. There are huge indoor/outdoor (very warm) pools, hot thubs and saunas village. Everything was desinfected and perfectly clean.
We've highly recommend this hotel!
It's a short walking distance from the Terme Zreče. They have free parking 20 meters from the entrance. Receptionist speaks numerous languages and was exceptionally friendly. In the room there is a refrigerator, TV with lots of TV programs. The room was well lit, bright and in good state. Breakfast was very nice.

Very nicely furnished small apartment in an idyllic location, just a few steps from the forest and very close to the hotel and the restaurant. The kitchen is fully equipped, the products for cleaning are there. There is a piece of grass in front of the apartment with wooden benches and table to enjoy the green scenery.
Not far (20 min drive) from the Rogla ski resort and the Zrece thermal bath (4 min drive), well equipped guest rooms attached to an excellent restaurant (worth trying also for lunch/dinner). Comfy rooms, practical common "living room" with complimentary tea, original design, rich breakfast.
Excellent location if you are looking for one to go skiing. Very close to the top of the ski resort Rogla, short walking distance from ski lift/top of the piste. Great food, both for breakfast as well as dinner (great choice of foods). Also, excellent coffee at the lobby of the hotel!
