Amazing location, close to hikes. Tanja was very welcoming and accommodating. She recommended a great restaurant for supper (the only place open nearby) and it was delicious and reasonably priced. The room inside the house was large and spacious. Highly recommend staying here :)

The host is exceptional. She was really thoughtfull: always helping us with tourist information, giving us small treats, like leaving croissants every day in front of the door and giving sweets to the children. The guesthouse was very clean,rooms are big and v and had all necessary items for a confortable stay and were cleaned every morning. The kitchen, which was perfectly equiped icluding dishwaser,washmachine and dryer. The best part of our stay was the stunning view over the mountains from the terrace where we could have breakfast in the morning sun. It was the perfect place where you could swe could have stayed and visit the beautiful slovenian rivers and mountains.. Thank you for hosting us!

This property is a true gem. We stayed during the first week of January and our holiday season was gloriously extended by staying at River House. The magic of the decorations, the warmth and welcome of the hosts, fully stocked with every little detail you might need, comfortable layout, beds, fireplace and the unforgettable river which added character, fresh air and relaxation. Location is great, close for skiing and walks, not far from Ljubljana and lakes. Stay at this house, if available, you won’t regret it!

Great area for hiking to the paths that is rare and never been by most tourists! The lake is very famous on Instagram too! Good mineral water. It is next to Austria an area that is good for rock climbing!

Nice village with fantastic views and great hiking. Restaurants are rather limited although we thought the new pizzeria was good and excellent value for money. Locals are very friendly. Not yet spoilt by tourism.
