The Gorge is very beautiful and there are many hiking and walking trail around. The museum of Tolmin is really interesting. I'd recommend going there with nice weather, there is little to be done when it is raining.

Tomlinson was a great stop on our hiking adventure. The gorge and castle ruins were good to see and with it being a bigger town then we had been in on our travels we were able to restock our hiking supplies.

Great base for getting out to other hiking areas waterfalls and canyons. The Town centre is dated and quite dirty. Only a few restaurants all with the same items on the menu, but all good quality and very low prices.

Tolmin is heaven on earth.
Tolmin is heaven on earth. Especially in the festival season in the town. The rivers Tolminka and Soca meet, and it's the perfect cooling down in the hot hot heat (it was 32 degrees Celsius). The surrounding area is Slovene Alps at its best with countless activities from biking, paragliding, mountain climbing and canyoning. It has one of the best festivals in Slovenia every summer, and it's a must visit.

Nice quiet place, not many tourists. Beautiful gorge to walk which again was not busy. It’s a quaint little town with few restaurants and ideal for those looking for outdoor activities off the beaten track.
Also if you choose to do the boat tour (which requires a short drive) best deal is to have lunch on it. It’s 14 euro for 2/3 courses including 2.5 hour boat ride. Otherwise you pay for 1 hour boat ride with no food for 8 euro.

Cute little town with breathtaking surroundings, very tourist-friendly, perfect for active holidays. Having a car helps a lot, makes the whole region very accessible, but train is a second best option as well. Restaurant Labrca at the river bank is a must. Excellent food, friendly staff.
The apartment was easy to find, Mirjam, the owner was very nice and helpful. We had 2 bedrooms, a living room, a well equipped kitchen and a bathroom. Basically the whole 2nd floor was ours. The apartment was clean, there were towels, bed linen, shower gel, etc, everything that you can find in a hotel, but not always in an apartment. There are 2 restaurants within 100 metres. We tried both and were satisfied with the food and the service.
Spacious and cozy apartment in the wilderness surrounding Tolmin. We really enjoyed the cleanliness and practicality of this place, as well as the beds, they were very comfy to sleep in. There is a large entrance hall too, ideal for storing hiking/ski gear. The kitchen space is superb, with plenty of utensils and appliances to use. Overall, this apartment offers everything you need and could hope for while travelling.
The apartment is at great location, in the center of Tolmin (which is a small town with only 3.500 residents). Everything is near: supermarkets, restaurants & cafes, playground & sport park, etc.
We were on a roadtrip with our 17 month kid and the host was helpful to get a high chair and a cot for our stay.

Unfortunately, there are only the pros that I could give.
Very super friendly and helpful staff. Nice place close to Tolmin, just 5 mins of driving. When we needed to bring our friend into the room because of huge storm and damaged tent in the camping, it was no problem. Everything solved smoothly and we even got extra breakfast for him.
Rooms and equipment will bring you to older times, but all is clean and nice.
This is a great option when in the Soca Valley. The owner is so nice. We rented it last minute and the only room available was the small room. It’s small, but manageable for two people. I loved that there was a small kitchen closet for making breakfast each morning. It’s close to the center of town and to the Tolmin Gorge.

Beautiful apartment furnished with care and love. The location is very nice, on top part of Zatolmin. We arrived by car and could park for free in front of the building. The owner greeted us and surprised us with some local products. We loved our stay and hope to be back soon!
Perfectly tranquil setting on the Tolminka River. Very convenient to Tolmin town, hiking/biking trails, and the Tolmin Gorges. Large apartment and well set up - comfortable bed, everything worked, lots of good kitchen equipment. Self check-in was convenient. We will return!
Very friendly staff, breakfast was good maybe just more fresh fruits but we did not mind. Hotel is very close to Tolmitska gorja Park so you can walk to the enterance to the park..Nearby is a local place "Pri Noni" where you can eat and drink for a reasonable prices.
Darko was very friendly! Upon arrival there was a little gift and delicious cheese. A friendly cat kept an eye on us during our stay. The appartement looks just like in the pictures and Tolmin is also a great place to explore the soca valley from.
The house is spectacular, comfortable, quiet and an area very close to both the center and the Tolminska Korita canyons. Leonida the host is a sweetheart of a woman, she treated us great and cared about us and the little ones. we feel at home.
The owner was so kind and helpful the place was clean and even behind and under stuff was clean. Parking is fine. Everything is close like tolmin georges. Kitchen is clean and we'll equipped. View is exciting. Pizzeria is across the street.
Bed was very comfortable. It was not too hot neither too cold in a tent. I loved the view, Soča and cute tent patio :) I also liked the vibrant atmosphere and very friendly staff. It was a nice walk from glamping to Tolmin.
We stayed at 5 hotels on the trip, and this apartment. This was by far the best place we stayed - well equipped, a coffee machine and pods, fresh orange juice and croissants in the morning. Great.
