Ales went out of his way to help me when I had a problem with our car exhaust coming loose, finding a garage who could fix it quickly, driving me to and from the garage and absolutely refusing any payment for his time and petrol. The host Mojca gave us 5* treatment, taking care of us like we were family. Her guesthouse is exceptionally clean and has everything you need for your stay. Mojca thinks of all the little details to make your stay wonderful from reserved parking, tables with a view for her amazing breakfast spread and little treats in your room to make you feel valued. The guesthouse is perfectly located for mountain views, hiking, lake swimming etc….The high rating for this guesthouse is more than deserved. We will be returning!

Simona and her husband are very nice and helpful. They gave us a lot of useful information and advice. We needed a freezer and they helped us to get it. Clean apartment, spacious and very well equipped which made our stay comfortable. The view from the balloon was breathtaking. A beautiful place, everything was perfect. Highly recommended.

In simple terms, the whole stay was superb. Regarding the accommodation, we had everything that we needed, the apartment was very spacious, comfortable and clean. The kitchen had all the utensils that anyone could need. Communication with the owners was absolutely fantastic, they provided all the necessary information before and during our stay. Location of the apartment is stunning, the area is very peaceful and the lake, mountains and nearby towns are beautiful.

The family-run guest house Zaplata in the Kokra valley is located only 30 minutes from the capital city Ljubljana, near the International Airport Brnik – transfer is free of charge.

Very nice mountain hotel. The personnel was excellent and very nice, except the maid. The room was a little small for a family of 4 but not a problem at all. Breakfast and dinner were nice and the kitchen staff was also very helpful.
