Violet`s Place became one of our favourite accommodations ever! The location is fantastic, as you have an access to a wonderful view of Triest (Italy) while being in Slovenia. It is easy to get with a car to Slovenian seaside (we highly recommend Fiesa Beach, especially if you are travelling with dog), to Italy as well (for example, grocery stores in Slovenia are closed on Sundays, so you can simply go to shop in Italy). The house is big, has a lot of space in both bedroom and living room. There is everything necessary for cooking, and Violet (host) was very kind to allow us to eat figues and grapes from her garden. The place is dog friendly, has a car parking possibility. We highly recommend this place for a calm rest.

The location was quiet and truly in the middle of nature. The children can play in the garden there is a trampoline and a swing. Anna is a very friendly and helpful host. Thank you for the eggs for breakfast!

We stayed in File to ride Lipizon horses at Lipica, and File was convenient and inexpensive. Our hosts were friendly and glad to adapt to our needs. Slope is a bit out of the way so having breakfast and dinner options on site was very useful. And breakfast in was an excellent Germanic spread that filled us up. We rented a triple to have a bit more room for the two of us.

Good hotel in a quiet hamlet. Good beds!Restaurant was closed as we were the only guests, but the hostess referred us to a restaurant at walking distance. She made us a very nice and nutritious breakfast in the morning. Recommended!
