There isn't much to Lokve and that's exactly what we wanted.
There isn't much to Lokve and that's exactly what we wanted. It's isolated up in the hills so stock up on groceries at the Spar in Novo Gorika. There is a restaurant (a gostina) that is the main feature of the town where we had good food, beer and wine. Highly recommended as a place to get away from it all or as a central 'base camp' for trips into the mountains and wine making regions of Slovenia.

Pleasant and well equipped apartment, all rooms are clean and spacious. Friendly meeting, great people. Quiet place surrounded by beautiful mountain nature. We were here for the second time and we will definitely come again.
