Very nice place, a little bit distant from the sea, but quiet and cozy. Children had separated room. We really appreciated air conditioning. The host is very nice and helpful, we received small gifts 🙂 when leaving.

Violet`s Place became one of our favourite accommodations ever! The location is fantastic, as you have an access to a wonderful view of Triest (Italy) while being in Slovenia. It is easy to get with a car to Slovenian seaside (we highly recommend Fiesa Beach, especially if you are travelling with dog), to Italy as well (for example, grocery stores in Slovenia are closed on Sundays, so you can simply go to shop in Italy).
The house is big, has a lot of space in both bedroom and living room. There is everything necessary for cooking, and Violet (host) was very kind to allow us to eat figues and grapes from her garden.
The place is dog friendly, has a car parking possibility. We highly recommend this place for a calm rest.

The ground floor apartment that we stayed in was very dirty and it looked like it hasn't been cleaned for a long time. All the surfaces were dirty, the floors are dusty, have hair laying around and I found a big piece of broken glass next to the sofa. This is very dangerous! It is full of flies and earwigs, which is very disturbing. The kitchen sink hasn't been cleaned for so long that it had cobwebs inside. I had to clean and disinfect some of these things just for us to be able to spend the night here. The bathroom has a strong and constant stench which we couldn't get rid of even after cleaning it and keeping the window open. I have informed the agency straight away of the situation, sent the photos, and asked kindly for the apartment to be cleaned. I only receive a reply two days later with information that this is the case because she showed up two hours before the defined check-in time. We explained that we were there just to drop our luggage and go to the beach immediately, which we did. The host never mentioned that this will disrupt her cleaning procedure and cause the apartment to stay dirty.
