The location was great after we figured out where it was. The apartment appears to have been recently renovated with all new fixtures. We didn't use the sauna as it was not really the season. The owner let us stay in the parking space after check-out so we could visit the Kobarid Museum.
Our only issue, which was quite minor, is that the towels smelled a little of mildew.

This was a great place if you are looking for somewhere near Staro Selo. I came to enjoy a meal at Hisa Franko (there were no more rooms available at the restaurant) and this was an ideal alternative!
Very clean, comfy bed, nice shower, and the sauna was a big plus! It’s nice to sit on the porch at sunset and if it’s clear, you can even see Krn. I would absolutely stay again if I am in the area.
Featuring mountain views, Mike's Rooms in Kobarid features accommodations and a garden. Both free Wifi and parking on-site are accessible at the bed and breakfast free of charge.

We had a great experience, the apartment was really cozy, spacious, and everything looked like brand new, we had our own kettle and fridge but there's also a well equipped shared kitchen for cooking.
The area is beautiful and Mike is really helpful and knowledgeable about what to do, gave us plenty of advice about places to see and things to know
Thanks a lot!

very comfortable, great location, and a very welcoming host. the house includes two units, an upstairs and a downstairs, each with 2 bedrooms. we had booked both with another family and didn’t realize until we got there that we could make the units adjoining, which worked out perfect for us.

Nice accommodation, spacious, very clean and well equipped. Hosts are friendly and helpful. Parking spot is in front of the house and covered.
Kobarid is great for hiking. Unfortunately I was there when it was raining for days and didn't dare to do longer hikes. There is a great museum in town, but after having seen that, there's not much to do when the weather is bad.
When the weather is nice, there are many great hiking routes from and to here, and buses also help you get back from Tolmin or Bovec. Unfortunately some other non-round hikes end in Magozd or Dreznica and there is no public transportation to get back to Kobarid.
I would definitely recommend the town for 1-2 days to pass through, see the Napoleon bridge and Kozjak waterfall, and check the museum!

Kobarid was an excellent base to see sites around the Soca valley. We particularly enjoyed the pass to Predil with its ruined fortresses, the Boka waterfall, the WW1 museum, the Italian mausoleum, and the trench lines at Kolovrat.

Kobaird was a surprise for me.
Kobaird was a surprise for me. It is a neat little town, in a beautiful setting with a lot of outdoor activities, of which we didnt have time to do most. It also has some exceptional restaurants. Everyone knows about Hisa Franka but we dinned at Hotel Topli Val and the food and wine where exceptional, and I believe there are others just as good. We will definitely have to come for a longer stay

Kobarid was great.
Kobarid was great. A wonderful market with everything you could ever need and lots of lovely local specialities. A great place to do base yourself for hiking and also get to Bovec for white water rafting. Hisa Planica is in Dreznica above Kobarid. A lovely little village with great walks to beautiful waterfalls, wonderful views, the best hosts. The drive up to Dreznica is fairly winding, fine for my husband and sons, but at times I needed to close my eyes.

Naturally blessed area and a very clean town.
Naturally blessed area and a very clean town. There are a lot of water or mountain related activities that can be done around the town. There are places were food is more than great(Hisa Polonka or Kotlar) located in the center of the town.
I liked absolutely everything. The name "premium hostel" really reflects the quality of the place. Anna and her husband were very welcoming. They have traveled a lot, so not only you can have a very interesting conversation with them, but also they have great advise to give on what to do around Kobarid. They also have put a lot of effort into making this hostel a great place, with confy rooms, clean facilities and an amazing view from the terrace.
1000% recommended.
There are no words to describe how homey and amazing this place is. Hosts are truly amazing people and will give you advice on anything you need to make your trip a great experience. Rooms are prepared to a very high standard. Breakfast is one of the best you will ever have and a unique bar in the village will hit a perfect spot for evening night cap. If there is a free room in Soca Potential and you want to explore this part of Slovenia, trust me, book it now.
The apartman itself is very cozy and well equiped and the bathroom is beautiful. We had a really good time, went for swimming in the nearby river and which is just a dream (the water is cold, but the view is awesome). Ana was the perfect host during our stay. She sent us a list with all the concerts and activities in the neighboring villages, and some restaurant options as well (you must try Postaja Poljana). She even helped us when one of us had an accident.
Apartment is located in a central place in Kobarid. Our room was just as described; cozy with large bed, cute furnishings and equipped with everything you need. Marie is very nice host, always smiling and available and there is not a problem if you need anything. You can hike/cycle directly from the property. Free parking is about 2 minutes from the house.
We highly recommend Marie’s fantastic breakfast in the garden!!
Room was super clean, modern and nicely equipped with outlets by the bed, great shower, comfortable bed, mini fridge, and a lovely terrace overlooking a small orchard. There was plenty of glassware and silverware for any food or beverage you'd like to enjoy outside. The owner was lovely and very kindly let us keep our car parked at the hotel while we visited the Kobarid Museum after we checked out. Highly recommend!
Great appartment in the center of Kobarid, our dog was more than welcome and the host was super friendly. It’s a great location to visit all the natural beauties. Appartment is really clean and spacious and the kitchen is equipped with all the things you need for cooking (salt, oil, vinegar, etc…). I recommend this stay!
It was a very nice and uncomplicated stay in the beautiful and original Nadiza valley. The cute little apartment is only 20 min from Kobarid by car. We were welcomed very kindly and were given a lot of information about the area and possible activities (hiking, paragliding, rafting). Won't be the last time!
Nice location in the center of Kobarid, enough space for parking and well equipped common kitchen. Last but not least -Jernej is really a super host, not only did he prepare us excellent breakfast, but he also allowed us to leave our car at the hotel parking lot for two days between our single stays.
Absolutely amazing accommodation. The hosts are extremely nice - they made traditional kobarid štrukli for us. The lodge is equipped with everything you need. Beautiful sunsets, beautiful scenery in a remote location, extremely clean. A true gem to find on Booking :)
Nice fresh, spacious and well equipped apartment with lovely garden. We really enjoyed our stay here and want to come back and explore even more of this beautiful region of Slovenia. Matia is a very nice and attentive host. Ideal location for hikes in Kobarid
The Soča River was gorgeous. The location is very near Kobarid, which was convenient. The bed was comfortable, and the environment was quiet and peaceful. The sauna on-site was wonderful and reasonably priced. The coffee at the cafe was great.
Well-appointed unit provided a pleasant stay in the charming town of Kobarid. Everything is walkable from here and the parking is ample.
The host is very kind and helpful and we look forward to returning someday soon.
Thank you!!
3 star hotel. Good location and beds. Weird that the restaurant charged us a plate setting fee- not normal for Slovenia. Felt like a money grab and left a poor taste in our mouth
It is a nice apartment in a small town just a few kilometers outside of Kobarid. The apartment is roomy, well-maintained and very clean. The appliances are excellent.
Everything, if you want peace and quite accomodation with all neccessary appliances and above all in beautiful part of Slovenia, this is right choice! Ratings 10/10.
Freshly renovated apartment in a quite remote area, just 3min drive to Kobarid. Good kitchen, nice back yard with a terrace. Both bedrooms clean and well equipped.
