Nice fishing town, best town in Slovenia for a beach holiday. Relaxed, enough entertaining, family and dog friendly town but also great for solo travellers. Nearby hidden beatches to explore. Coffee and croiassont, restaurants, fish market are great

Nice place between Piran and Koper. Whole seaeside in Slovenia is nice with excellent beaches.
There were not too many people in the beginning of May.
Nice place for swimming, cycling, wine drinking.

it's a small city with good connection to other parts of Slovenian coast; the city center is very nice with plenty of cafes and restaurants, we enjoyed the cycle paths and cycle roads to Koper and Isola; we prefer to stay in Izola comparing to Portoroz and Koper and it's not so crowdy and everything is close also walking or using bicycle

Izola is a small jewelry box.
Izola is a small jewelry box. With narrow streets, the delicious aromas of Mediterranean cuisine can be felt during an evening walk. We can meet very nice people here among the hosts. We ate fantastic food at the restaurants along the coast. You can eat fresh seafood straight from the sea. We are returning guests here and it was certainly not the last time we visited the town.

Lovely cosy seaside town. We enjoyed our stay as there were not many tourists, it is not crowded not even near the sea (not like Portoroz). The beaches are with stones, but that is ok if you have water shoes. You can find all the amenities you need in Izola - shops, market, post office, restaurants, pharmacy, bakery....
It is possile to travel to nearby towns by bus or by boat - Portoroz, Piran, Koper. To Koper is also a nice was from Izola along the sea or it is also possible to rent a bike.

Small quiet town. Many good restaurants, cafes, pastry shops, bars. Excellently built cycling routes. The surrounding towns of Portorož, Piran, Piranske soline, Koper are accessible by bicycle. Friendly people. Nice beaches, clean sea. Many options for trips to the surrounding area (Trieste, Miramare Castle, Sistiana/Italy or Umag, Poreč, Rovinj, Pula/Croatia or Lipica, Postojna, Ljubljana, Tolmin, Bled/Slovenia)

Everything was great!
House was in quiet area surrounded by olive trees and beautiful trees and flowers. Beautiful view.
Close to all sightseeings like izola, stundan, Piran.
House was clean, all was in there, well furnished.
Air cooler was really efficient, modern and silent.
We stayed 4nights with two kids, they had their rooms with their bunk bed.
Honestly nothing to add, or improve.
We warmly recommend.

If you are traveling by car, Olive Garden House is the perfect location. It is close to the city centers of Izola, Portorož, and Piran.
The house has parking and is exceptionally clean.
The best part of the house is the hosts, who make you feel not like paying guests but like friends.
We highly recommend the place.
Lili, the host is an absolute delight. We had a wonderful time. As a family of three, we had everything that we needed. Well equipped and very clean apartment. Thank you Lili & family for a nice week in Izola.
