Really convenient location, being only a short walk away from the restaurants of Izola and right next to the beach. We had a nice balcony room with ocean view which was quiet and peaceful. The buffet breakfast was filling, although I did have higher quality breakfasts during my time in Slovenia.

The highlight of our stay was definitely the beautiful pool area, which was impeccably maintained and provided a serene spot to unwind. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat!

Great and discreet boutique hotel in the quiet Isola. It has only 10 rooms which creates a cosy but still classy experience. Great host, fresh premises, very spacious rooms with comfortable bed/pillows, amazing bathroom. Breakfast selection is limited but it's high quality: local goodies, barista coffee and fresh orange juice.
Situated in the medieval fishing town of Izola, Hotel Marina is next to the beach. It offers spacious and stylish en suite rooms with balconies overlooking the Adriatic sea.

Nice modern rooms and they have an excellent chef at their restaurant. The rooms that overlook the marina are the ones you'll want. The morning buffet was plentiful and nice selection of savoury and sweet.

it's a small city with good connection to other parts of Slovenian coast; the city center is very nice with plenty of cafes and restaurants, we enjoyed the cycle paths and cycle roads to Koper and Isola; we prefer to stay in Izola comparing to Portoroz and Koper and it's not so crowdy and everything is close also walking or using bicycle

Izola is a small jewelry box.
Izola is a small jewelry box. With narrow streets, the delicious aromas of Mediterranean cuisine can be felt during an evening walk. We can meet very nice people here among the hosts. We ate fantastic food at the restaurants along the coast. You can eat fresh seafood straight from the sea. We are returning guests here and it was certainly not the last time we visited the town.

Lovely cosy seaside town.
Lovely cosy seaside town. We enjoyed our stay as there were not many tourists, it is not crowded not even near the sea (not like Portoroz). The beaches are with stones, but that is ok if you have water shoes. You can find all the amenities you need in Izola - shops, market, post office, restaurants, pharmacy, bakery....
It is possile to travel to nearby towns by bus or by boat - Portoroz, Piran, Koper. To Koper is also a nice was from Izola along the sea or it is also possible to rent a bike.

Small quiet town. Many good restaurants, cafes, pastry shops, bars. Excellently built cycling routes. The surrounding towns of Portorož, Piran, Piranske soline, Koper are accessible by bicycle. Friendly people. Nice beaches, clean sea. Many options for trips to the surrounding area (Trieste, Miramare Castle, Sistiana/Italy or Umag, Poreč, Rovinj, Pula/Croatia or Lipica, Postojna, Ljubljana, Tolmin, Bled/Slovenia)

Nice place.
Nice place. But look closely to the menu before entering a restaurant. Get a table in those where the locals with sweatpants and flip-flops are. Water is very clear and warm. Nice landscapes in the region. Leave Portoroz alone (unless you are a gambler).

Perfect for biking, hiking and swimming.
Perfect for biking, hiking and swimming. We took our own bikes with us and enjoyed Parenzana trail to the max! Izola is maybe the best choice since it has lovely old city center, few beaches which are quite nice.
Hotel is decent and clean, it is part of San Simon complex located in beautiful nature close to the sea. Rooms are new and furniture as well. Staff is kind. We had only breakfast which was always fresh with many options. I can imagine how complex is awesome in summer since in March was really pleasant. Hotel has pool which is nice while other spa services are in another building same as restaurant. Enough parking space. Location is perfect for exploring Slovenina coast and near by Italy and Croatia.
We had a blast here! We have a little kid (2)and he was excited as well, the garden with olive threes is perfect place for families, but we also enjoyed great wine at the terrace. View is amazing and location is great, the distance from the city is approximately 10 minutes by car. The parking place is right at the house. So, Baredi and izola are beautiful places and we would love to come back in the future. The kitchen is well equiped.
What a perfect break in Izola. We loved staying in Little house. It's ideal for family of 4 although there was three of us on this occasion. Everything is within easy reach (less then 5 min walk)...beach, bakery, coffee shops, shops, butcher...
We know the area very well so there is plenty to see if you like to explore on foot, local transport or car...Piran, Portoroz, Kopar, Strunjan, Lipice...
I'm sure we'll be back again.
The view is really nice. Beds are comfortable, breakfast has good varieties (good for kids too) and the swimming pool area is very nice. There are pool for kids, even for little kids. Friendly staff in the reception. Van transportation to the beach. Beach is close but it is quite a cliff to come back. With the van it was very convenient.
The location of apartment is on foot distance from many cafes, bars, and port of Izola. It has all necessary equipment for stay and 5-8 people can be hosted easily. Beyond the apartment building is one small cozy square with pizza place and winery. Everything about this place reminded me on some small Italian cities. We all loved it!
Beautiful environment of Slovenian Istria, great views, spotless and cozy flat, the kitchen superbly equipped with all the necessities (sugar, salt, tea, coffee, snacks), lovely village, great restaurants in the village, close to beaches in Izola and Strunjan. Awesome stay, thank you.
The apartment was spotless clean, very spacious, it has a lot of storage space and there's everything you need, including first aid kit and bottle opener :) If you can take the stairs, then the apartment is closer to the beach than most hotels. The view from the terrace is great.
If you like quiet, this is the place for you.
It's far from the noise of the city and traffic.
The place itself is on top of the mountain and surrounded by olive trees. It's very beautiful and the host was very friendly and speaks perfect English. (Most of Slovenia do)
Such a lovely place, Natasa is absolutely kind and a warm hearted person. Never seen a Hotel, Motel or Guesthouse, where all the small lovingly arranged details makes a full picture of a perfect house!
Thanks for all, we enjoyed our trip to Izola!
This is a beautiful boutique hotel, stylish and neat. Perfect location, beautiful view from the rooms and the rooftop terrace. Very close to the beach. The host is exceptionally kind and helpful. Breakfast is great. Overall highly recommended.
The Hotel is well located on a hill with a fantastic view at Izola and the see. We‘ve had a nice spacious room with a nice terrace and see view. Staff was friendly, breakfast very nice. Izola is walking distance or 5mins by car.
Small but well organized, we had Tramontana appartment, wtih the roof window, it was nice :)nice views of Izola sky ❤️
Capsula coffe machine on the appartment :), kitchen well equiped
Location in the city center :)
Hotel is nice. Stuff was polite and very helpful with finding the parking spot, since there were no available spaces in front of the hotel. Breakfast was tasty and various.
Our host Natasha was super helpful. She went out of her way to help us enjoy Izola. The location was perfect and the rooms were lovely. Great breakfast!
