Very nice, clean and comfortable apartament. Fully equipped ( Kettle/kitchen/coffee machine/ się condition/ TV...) Spacious balcony with great wiev. The host is a very nice and helpful person. My reservation was extremely "last minute/emergency" , but he response very quickly . Close to the market, restaurant, also good starting point to hike, bike, explore. Cerknica is nothing impressive, it has some charms of many other small Slovenian towns, but nothing to be especially remembered for. But as a start point for interesting and beautiful sightseeing and adventures it can be considered one of the best in (and not limited to) Slovenia.
We stayed for one night in the apartment during our bicycle tour. The check-in process was smooth and uncomplicated and we could store our bicycle in a secured place. The apartment was completely renovated, offering all the comforts and relaxation we required. Samo, our host, was exceptionally supportive and assisted us with any inquiries, even when we encountered difficulties during our bike tour hours after checking out. I really recommend this apartment to anyone and would not hesitate to book it again if we return to Cerknica.
Incredible accomodation with beautiful atmosphere of Slovenian countryside. Very kind stuff. Clean and comfy rooms. Breakfast was outstanding with local food and fresh homemady pastry. It really exceeded our expectations. On top of that you can buy local products (honey, schnaps, salami, cheese and more). Credit cards are not accepted but payment by Paypal or bank transfer is not a problem. We really enjoyed our stay and definitely want to come back later.
Great location, loved being on the farm and great property as part of our family European tour which included 10 days in Slovenia. Great facilities, including TV channels, washing machine, dishwasher and good Wifi. Would highly recommend.
The owners were very nice. We got fruit from their garden. Children loved the place. There is great museum about the Cerknica lake 2 minutes from the appartment. Great place for stop on the way from croatia to austria.
