First mention MUST go to Ingrid on reception who made us very welcome and upon seeing that we had experienced a very long day and both were suffering with a cold insisted on making us a hot drink when we came down for dinner. She also made sure we had access to Lemon and Ginger tea for taking back to our room after dinner. A real credit to the hotel. The location was a bit in the middle of nowhere, but that suited us as it was directly on the route we needed to take and near a large waterfall that we wanted to see in passing. With exception of one dodgy light fitting the room was nice and comfortable, but we were close to a road (could have paid extra to be away from the road :-) ).

Bovec is a lovely place/area to visit. Certainly worth staying for at least a couple of nights. We didn't take part in any of the adventure sports like rafting etc, so if you do those as well, you may want to stay for longer.

Not much public transportation available. It was too hot to hike during the afternoon and water in rivers very low in late August. Weather is probably better in the shoulder seasons of June and September but buses are very infrequent at that time if you are relying on public transport.

I really wished we stayed longer in Bovec, we loved our accomodation. it was a little of the beaten track which made it that much more special. The house was super comfortable and comfy, and the surroundings it was in were just stunning. If you are a nature lover, this place if prefect for you. Our host was super lovely, and accomodating and so helpful. We will defiantly come back here to spend a bit more time exploring Bovec, the Triglav NP and the stunning natural surrounds. We loved it!

Of all the places we've stayed so far during our 2 weeks in Slovenia, this was my favorite. Good location in between the mountains, great amenities, nice and quiet, very clean and modern, nice breakfast, ... Host was very friendly too. I have no complaints about our stay. Nothing beats sleeping out in the open air! Especially with the hot weather it's very nice that the tents cool down quickly once the sun sets. Haven't slept so good in days.
One of the few high-standard hotels in the Soča valley, this hotel offers everything that you need for exploring this amazing part of Slovenia. The company that runs activities on Soča has a counter next to the reception and they are extremely professional. The pool area is a nice bonus and the breakfast was tasty.
Great apartment, very friendly and supportive owner. Living room + 2 bedroom apartmernt, very spacious. Walking distance from the ski cabin walley station of Kanin. Supermarket, petrol station etc. very close, city center with restaurants about 1 km away.
The hotel is located in the center of Bovec and has a beautiful view on the mountains. The room was a bit outdated, but very clean. We loved the breakfast! Really great variety of choices, all was delicious.
We just used it as an intermediate stay while visiting that area of the country.
But the hotel was good, location (5m walk to the town center), room and breakfast.
