George is a absolutely amazing host! He gave us many advices about Mahé and trips there. And he is absolutely right that southern part of Mahé is the best location for honeymoon (Police Bay or Anse Intendance are pretty close). You can find there perfect atmosphere for your honeymoon! And we also have to praise homemade breakfast (continental, french or creole). Superb start of every day!

Very nice location with nice beach, breakfast was always nice, our room was also nice (king seafront 2nd floor with lovely view indeed), in general quiet smaller place, I also enjoyed local spa - that girl was great (wrap and massage), nice staff, we stayed 3 nights only. Restaurant was ok, to be honest the grilled seafood platter was not that amazing for that price , we did have better elsewhere indeed, but in general OK.

Loved Takamaka. The room was amazing, the property was so beautiful, and the food was delicious and very filling. I felt a bit alone as a solo traveler at first, but I went on a hike with someone working at Takamaka Green Village and another solo traveler, who I then made friends with and ended up continuing to travel with for the remainder of my journey in the Seychelles! If you travel alone, dinner is a bit awkward because you sit alone. Takamaka beach was super close, and it was a really nice beach! The grocery store is far. So if you go, make sure you get all of what you need to be prepared.

Stunning beaches peaceful chilled atmosphere, great food if you use the little cafes and parked trucks by the roadsides (which are spotless)
Hotel and restaurants can be expensive and we found similar food just as good as mentioned above.

There are lot of nice beaches down on south of island.
There are lot of nice beaches down on south of island. Close to Takamaka Rum Distillery or Craft Village. Police Bay is really a must to see. You can´t swimm there, but it is absolutely stunning place.

-i took the room on the flooe so i had my own exist door.
-the hostess was nice in her welcoming and answered any message i sent within few minutes.
-finding a good and an affordable accommodation very close to a good beach in mahe is rare, so this place is very good.
-parking
- very close (2-4 min walking) to a hilton hotel and got a 20% discount on food orders provided by captain’s villa.
We loved this place, we spent there 3 nights! Very clean, well-organized, well-equipped, located great! This location is perfect to reach great beaches (Intendance, Takamaka) and hiking spots! The beach of the property is also great! Calm, family-friendly, no heavy waves, perfect spot for sunrise watching or just chill around :)

Simple but very well maintained and spacious chalets in the lush green mountains above Anse Takamaka. We very much enjoyed the quiet location in the nature with stunning views of the jungle. We were very well received by the owners, with welcome drinks and great tips on what to do on the island.
Everything, very nice staff. Breakfasts and dinners which we had were very delicious. Near accommodation was nice beach.
If you want to come here, then its better to rent a car, because it far away from center. But if you dont want to, then there is a bus station close to hotel.
A very very beautiful boutique like hotel at the southern part of Mahe. We had a great little room/house with outdoor showers, and with a view of the sea. We could hear the waves crash at night, had a great terrace to enjoy the view and the blissfulness of it.
The Villa is located in very beautiful green place, facing Takamaka mountain, breathtaking views morning and evening, everything is in place and feels like home, the villa is equipped with everything you need with excellent wifi.
It’s a single house, the neighbour is living separately and very quiet. The owner does her best - is friendly and helpful, but the location is not so fair, it’s a walk from the beach for at least 7-8 minutes up to the hill.
the apartment was close to the beach Anse Forbans, approx. 3 minutes on foot. Not far from the famous Takamaka and Indendance beaches (10-15 min by car)

Wonderfull place! Great point to see all the south part of Mahe. Delicious food, very helpfull owner! And the view from villa… Something beautiful. I recommend to stay in Takamaka Sky! We will definetely come back
Location was fantastic. Shops are within driving distance and the beach is right across from the hotel. It had everything we needed to self cater. Aircon was great. Bed was comfortable.
The location is awesome, 5 minutes walk to Takamaka Beach. The property itself looks beautiful. The cook is very talented, delicious dinner and breakfast.
The location was exceptional, you are pretty much in the beach as you step down from rooms, the pool overlooking the beach was one of a kind experience.
