I recently stayed at Laila Seychelles, and I can confidently say it was one of the best vacation stays I’ve ever had. I had chosen this beautiful resort to propose to my fiancée, and the team at Laila went above and beyond to make the moment incredibly special.
From the moment I reached out to them with my plans, they were incredibly supportive, helping me organise every little detail. The staff helped set up the perfect spot for the proposal, complete with flowers, champagne and personalised touches that made it feel magical. The level of care and attention to detail was truly exceptional. The team made sure the entire experience was seamless and stress-free, allowing us to enjoy every moment. Special thanks to Stefania and Polina for the help.
Beyond the proposal, the rest of our stay was equally wonderful. The rooms are clean/today and offer amazing views.
The food is very good particularly at Kafe Kreol Cafe & Restaurant which is a great beach restaurant that forms part of the hotel.
I can't thank the staff enough for making our stay so special, and we can't wait to return to celebrate more milestones at Laila Seychelles. If you're looking for a place that combines lovely beaches and a great secluded hotel resort and personalised service, this is the spot! Highly recommend.

My husband and I stayed at Anantara Maia Seychelles Villas for our honeymoon and my birthday for a week from the end of May to early June. We had an amazing experience at the villas, as heavenly as Seychelles itself.
We have to say the villa and the whole team exceeded our expectations - of course, you expect certain things in luxury hotels, but what impressed us the most is how effortless everything is under the care of everyone here, the exact reason why we picked it here.
We want to express our special thanks to our butler Anton, the Director of Operations Anil Kumar, our taxi drivers Pat and Kelvin, and a few more staffs we don’t remember the names of including spa teams, buggy teams, front desks, the ladies who checked in and out for us, restaurant chefs and staffs, beach staffs, taxi drivers, and people who we randomly met at the villas and simply said hi to us. Thank you all for making our experience so special. I wish you all the best and I look forward to staying at Anantara Maia Seychelles Villas again in the future.

With the mountain view to the one side, the river on the other and the ocean view in front, there is nothing that can beat this. The property seems newly build and therefore everything is in a perfect condition. The host and her husband were amazing. They even arranged for a rental vehicle for us. We received a welcoming coconut drink which was amazing.
Boasting garden views, Effie Mountain View coco villa provides accommodation with balcony, around 4.6 km from Seychelles National Botanical Gardens.

The host Shirley was very accommodating with allowing us to relax in the garden prior to the room being cleaned due to our early arrival from the airport. Lovely apartment with nice garden area, not far from Airport on either bus or by car. Very happy. Ideally, you would have a car when staying here to give you access to the island, but busses run every 15 mins from bus stop outside. Shop over the road and also couple of minutes walk away to get basics. We both enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

We spent there 2 nights. The rooms are better than the online photos indicate. Are large and look like new.
The owner Mohammad were very helpful and friendly. When we came, he was waiting for us in front the doors. He order for us taxi in every directions. It’s the perfect place to stay that’s near the airport, 300-400m. Recommended
Its privacy yet right upon the beach. Ros A Mer provided all cooking facilities. The dining experierience, there were so many choices on the patio, inside or evan on the beach to the accompyment of the sound of the waves. From every angle was a beautiful view. We loved the warm, friendly Seychellois welcome on arrival.
We loved the warm, friendly Seychellois welcome on arrival. The island is absolutely stunning, from the wild jungle and huge granite mountains to the pristine beaches and indescribably blue sea. The driving is crazy - the roads are not straight with lots of steep curves and bends, so drive carefully if you hire a car to explore the island, which is highly recommended. There are lots of hidden gems - we ate at Maria's Rock which was a fabulous experience, and we highly recommend eating at the Boat House on Beau Vallon beach and the Green House in Au Cap. Buy freshly caught fish from the fish sellers on the side of the road and cook your own - it is cheap and delicious. Food in general, whether you are eating out or buying from one of the local corner grocery stores, is very pricey, so beware! Visit the Botanical Gardens and grab a delicious pastry and ice cream from the Polish owned bakery just across the road and down from the Botanical Gardens entrance. Definitely visit the Mission Ruins in Venn's Town in the Morne Seychellois National Park, the views are breathtaking. Also visit the beach at Anse Soleil for the best sunsets.

I really enjoyed Praslin - I had stayed 6 days in Praslin and 5 in Mahe. If I ever come back (i would love too) i would stay only one day in Mahe and the rest in Praslin. I brought my own coffee, the supermarkers are available but tehy had only nescafe, the available products are imported and expensive compare to Europe(butter, bear, bread and so one). It worth renting a car right from teh boat - if you are nor tired (They drive on the left side !!). Taxi is extremelly expensive and not available - for teh New Year we call two number , did not get any answer so we went using the renting car). You need a car and in my opion public transportation is not a solution.
You can pay with car almost everywhere except for taxi (I used Revolut) so you do not need a lot of cash in rupees. Some restaurant they charge you also for service on the bill 5% or 10%.

We hired cars for our holiday group and went shopping, sight seeing of Victoria city and the whole Mahe island and out evenings to restaurants and entertainment. We also did the glass bottom boat full day trip and were pleasantly surprised on this trip to meet his Excellency the State President and First Lady of Seychelles also spending relaxing time at the Beach House on one of the islands, where this lovely couple so graciously addressed the visitors to the island and so kindly gave our group from South Africa audience and a photo shoot opportunity that was the highlight of our visit to Seychelles.

Beautiful island with a little for every taste: amazing beaches (for families, adults and snorkelling), great scuba diving, water activities and excursions, amazing nature trails, good choice of restaurants.
If you want to explore the island car rental (40/50 €/day)is a must as public transport is limited (waiting time can be 30/40 mins - 7SR each ride). If you want to explore the best beaches or plantations/waterfalls/attractions consider a car.

Mahe is great! I loved it so much.
Mahe is great! I loved it so much. Firstly the Ocean for sure, with lots of beaches along the costs. There's plenty of activities to do like snorkeling, diving, surfing, kayaking, hiking, etc. Due to Covid-19 they have some restrictions of course but still you can have a great time there. Restaurants and bars are open until 10 pm, but some of them close earlier to allow their staff to get homes before curfew. Shops, minimarkets close at 7 pm. Wearing of masks is mandatory in public places, and they register your name country and temperature at the entrance in every restaurant, café, shop, etc. to have a track of visitors.
To get around you can either rent a car or use a taxi, public buses are not allowed for tourists now because of COVID-19. Overall the place is very safe. People are super welcoming, helpful, friendly and always smiling. There's a great choice of what to eat depends on your personal taste but most popular is fish and seafood of course.
Just go there, relax by the beach, get some walk around. In Mahe you forget about your everyday problems and routines, you are just enjoying being in the moment.
It was a bit difficult to find coconut climb but when we did it was well worth it. The view is spectacular and the property is beautifully decorated and very well equipped. The host Vivienne was very friendly and welcoming and was available via WhatsApp for any questions or recommendations. This is the perfect property for a group of friends or a family gathering. Good location for exploring the island of Mahe but a hire car is a must! Lovely short stay here! Thank you!
Everything was perfect! The owners are so nice. They were cleaning every day, throwing the garbage. They gave us good recommendations where to buy fresh fish and allowed us to use their barbecue in the garden! Bare in mind that your will defensively need rent a car if you choose to stay in this area. The Villa Bella has everything you would need for a perfect stay on Mahe island. Highly recommended!
Good location, in the middle of the jungle. This part of the island was not our prefered one, but it is just our opinion. However, the hotel is incredible, built in wood and placed in a very quiet place sourrended by the jungle, vith views all around the room and a fantastic balcony. The pool is incredible too and stars must be seen from here at night. We had a lovely stay.
The customer service and hospitality is 10/10, the location of the hotel is very convenient close to the airport, vicotria, as well as a 2 min drive to eden island. The hotel facilitates car rental service which was very convenient. The aroma massage at the spa is very highly recomended. The view from the villa is just out of this world!
1. The room is neat and comfortable.
2. The kitchen is extremely well equipped.
3. The rooms with the 'mini' swimming pool have the pool exclusively for the room. Despite the beautiful beach in front to the hotel, my 4 year old enjoyed the pool more.
5. The 2 Nepali-Indian staff are very helpful.
