The location was good. Right on the beach, which meant there was always a sea breeze to keep the temperature bearable. Rooms were a good size with large, comfortable beds. Was in easy walkable reach of small supermarkets and two good restaurants. The staff were very good. John was always on hand to make drinks or snacks from the beach bar or answer questions. Olivia also sorted an issue we had whilst booking ferries. They also booked taxis for us to get to a recommended restaurant. Bike hire on site, which we made use of. Also, car hire, although we didn't hire a car on this occasion. Bus stops fairly close, and it was an easy bus ride and walk through a fabulous golf course to get to one of the best beaches at Anse georgette.

Our stay at Bonnen Kare was absolutely amazing! The location was perfect and felt very private, with access to our own private beach. The kids absolutely loved it. The house itself was incredibly spacious and well-maintained. The host was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed for a fantastic stay. We can't wait to come back!

The hotel is fantastic. The staff are super helpful and the location is really wonderful next to the jetty and with an amazing view from the balcony. The restaurant dinners are really good, better than the restaurants we tried outside so we ended up staying for dinner two nights. It was a quiet lovely plantation-style hotel with old world charm, on a quiet stretch of beach with beautiful palm tree and sunset views. The location is only 10 min from the airport which was very convenient as we had to catch a 6am flight. Jabed was very helpful on check-in and went out of his way to assist us, even up-grading us to a bigger room for no extra charge and packing us a breakfast for our early flight.

I liked staying at Grand Anse, it has a sense of a small community but not a noisy one. One has to take either a rent a car or a bus. We rented a car for one day only, enough to see the island, and we took one bus ride No 61 around the island. Bus ride should be a must for everyone. Excellent experienced driver but the ride is not for lighthearted.

It's a good location to view the entire island from.
It's a good location to view the entire island from. If you're going to use bus transportation there are enough options. A couple of fine shops are there, and a couple of restaurants. The airport is there but you don't even here it. You have a good beach for swimming.

beautiful beaches which are not overcrowded, safe streets which tourists can walk in safely even at night. lots of beaches to experience and lots of other Islands to visit, it was a wonderful experience. transport using the bus around the Island is easy and cheap using the very efficient bus service. I loved going on the ferry to La Digue loved everything there the beaches the small shopping area, and food stalls very memorable day, the beach there was like nothing I have ever imagined in real life very picturesque with the granite rocks it was by far the highlight of my whole stay.
