I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Forest Lodge. Stephen was able to accommodate my request for an early check in and also helped arrange a pick up from the airport. Both him and Alam were friendly and welcoming. The property is located a short (but generally uphill) walk away from the main road and a bus stop, but for me, even though I didn't drive, it was very manageable, and I enjoyed the relative peace and quiet, as well as the opportunity to observe nature (e.g bulbuls and flying foxes) from my balcony, while also enjoying the convenience of easy access to the bus to town / Beau Vallon (you can walk there as well in maybe 15-20 min). The room itself is very spacious for a solo traveller, and the balcony was very roomy as well.

The property is beautiful, situated on top of a hill. The view from the room is what makes this property worth every penny. The staff is fantastic, and it is the best place for a honeymoon. In Seychelles most of the properties are self-catering, this is one of the properties which serves the customer with the best of everything. We are travelling very often all over the world and never in our life we meet a person as Jeoanne, the owner of the apartment. She took care about us more than our mother, helping every need we had. She provide a taxi driver who showed us Mahe Island .Hubert was the best taxi driver in the world.

There is not a lot of signposts for tourists to know where walking trails start. You need to research it yourself and when you get to the start of the trail there is a sign but no arrow to tell you where to actually walk!

We like long beach walks; we had a plenty of it in Bel Ombre. We like seafood; a lot of small nice places to have it. I would avoid going to La Plage which is located on the beach - very untasty, very unpleasant service. All other place were quite good.
And, once again - our stay there - for 3 days - was too short; we could spend there much more!

Bel Ombre is a good place to stay and still be close to Beau Vallon beach, but you must have a car as public buses are not allowed for tourists due to Corona restrictions.
Top attraction is the Anse Major trail.

Very nice hosts and amazing breakfast even though weather was bit bad, we had amazing time in a clean and spacious accommodation.
They recommended where to go and how to circulate around the neighborhood.
The communication and check-in/out was going really smoothly with Danielle and she handled everything in a flexible manner. She was always present and helped us with our questions whenever needed.
Also the fact that there is a small grocery shop right next to the apartment is a huge pro. One of the most beautiful beaches of Mahe (Beau Vallon Beach) is 5-10 minutes of walk from there.
The apartment itself was spotless with daily house cleaning (which was a pleasant surprise) and had every appliance needed.
Great location, just in the vicinity of Beau Vallon beach. The staff is extremely friendly and forthcoming to fullfil any request - to be honest I've been to many countries and many places, but never have I stayed at a place that has this kind staff working there. The apartment was clean and well equipped. Had a grand terrace overlooking the ocean and the garden which was a gem on its own. If we're ever to visit Seychelles again - and I hope we're back soon - we'll definitely come to Beach Cottages to stay!
Nice space for a couple, close walk to the beach in Beauvallon/Bel Ombre. Sécure, parking included, not too high in the mountains for walking, but far enough to get a good sense of local living and beautiful view of the mountainside. Owner very nice and hospitable, living on site, so easy to contact if/when needed. Daily cleaning service was a bonus.
Mahé, Seychelles well worth the visit. Great island with beautiful landscape, mountains, trekking, beaches, waves, fish, great food and lovely people.
The staff was very friendly and supportive. We came to Seychelles to get married, and the planner was not answering her phone, or replying to messages. The manager contacted the planner for us, and found a hair and makeup specialist so the bride would look like the beauty she is. Then they surprised us with champagne, balloons and snacks after the wedding. The kitchen was well equipped, and the washing machine got a lot of use after our trips to the beach. The security gate was a nice touch.
Loved every day of our stay at The Palm Seychelles, staff is really helpful they do everything in their power to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, they are extremely polite. The view from the balcony is incredible. Supermarkets are in a walking distance they all accept cash or Visa. Beau Vallon beach is 10 mins walk. The apartments are clean and well maintained. Staff will order food for you from the nearby restaurants if you asked them to.
We had a great stay. Murline was a lovely and helpful host. The apartment was the best we had during our 3-weeks-Seychelles trip, since it was much bigger than expected, very tidy and clean. The location was great, since it was just a 3 minute walk to the beach and the nearest grocery shop. The beach is very touristy but since the apartment is at the west end of it, it was rather quiet there (but not too far away from restaurants and bars etc.)
The owners are so kind and "homely". The bungalow was very cosy, clean, quite and amazing. The locating is nice, breakfasts are taste, the hosts are smiling and sociable. Beau Vallon Beach is about 15-20 min to walk, bus stop is next to bungalow, supermarkets are close. The route to Anse Major with its amazing panoramic views and mountains is very close from bus stop. I very like Seychelles in general and Daniella's bungalows in particularly.
The property is at excellent location. I really love this beach hotel, you can see the beach from the room, Hall and balcony obviously. Spacious, ultra clean, well decorated, well managed, having all accessories for cooking, and ambience etc. all are really amazing. Gargantuan bathroom, swing in balcony and many more.
The owner is soft spoken and nice person. There is a grocery shop in it’s close vicinity.

Breathtaking sea view to sunset and Silhuette island, lovely staff, nice pool, delicious food, very quiet (a huge plus!), great location in small local community with cosy harbour with eatery, mini-market, bus stop, boat to Silhuette, close to beach and nature trail to Anse Major. LOVED it! One of my best hotel experiences EVER!

Perfect beach view from the balcony. Best snorkeling in the Beau Vallon/Bel Ombré area is just in front of the apartments to the left (best at low or mid tide). The owners/staff were very helpful and the apartment had everything we needed for cooking and living (buy your own food and bring shampoo of course).
Great view from all of the rooms including main bathroom. Thanks to the glass walls, eating breakfast at the balcony is really the one of our unforgettable memories in Seychelles. Also we loved that the beautiful snorkeling spot is just 20 steps away! I saw the turtles and many beautiful fishes.
