Friendly, professional staff, obviously take pride in keeping the place running. Our room and all the facilities were exceedingly clean, and all the small details were taken care of - like removing the beach towels we'd used that day, and 'turning down' the bed at night.

We were visiting for a conference and stayed for 2 nights.
We were visiting for a conference and stayed for 2 nights. Everybody was extremely kind, room was large and well equipped and clean, our stay was really pleasant.
Only problem, until today I got no receipt for the bill I paid there when leaving - it was promised by email, and despite several attempts I did not get it yet. Not good for professional travelers.

It was a peaceful place, few shops including small supermarkets to get most things, there was a few restaurants including a good pizza take away.
We also visited the Takamaka rum distillery which was very interesting and free admition.

Anse Royal by the sea shore is a bad place to stay!
Anse Royal by the sea shore is a bad place to stay! A noisy road goes along the shore and you find yourself just above it, which makes you awakened at 6 am. It is more comfortable to go more into the hills: ok, you would spend 5-20 min driving to reach you beloved beach, but you would sleep in silence, enjoy a swimming pool at the end of the day, and hear birds in the morning.

It is a great place to have a nice holiday - if you like the sea. You have enough possibilities to buy your cooking-stuff and snacks in little supermarkets or little restaurants. Bus connection is good - what I saw, but I never used it, because I like to go walking. Sometimes I missed my bike, on the other side it seems to be dangerous to ride it, because the traffic is fast... For me it is sure: I will come back!

Cherry at ocean terrace suggested we visit their sister property on Praslin at no extra charge. Kerek organized this for us and it was a great thing to do. Terrence at ocean jewels was extremely helpful and welcoming and his gardens and private beach are gorgeous
Very good option for people wanting to stay somewhere else than in a big all inclusive hotels. The rooms are clean, air conditioned and well equipped with all necessities. The beach is a few minutes away and for those who would like to travel around the island the bus stop is just next to the hotel. Christine was more than helpful explaining how to get where, which bus to take and helped us organising our trips or booking a taxi if needed. My daughter and I couldn’t feel more taken care of. Really recommend Arc Royal as a place to stay!
The hotel is ideally located just metres away from 2 of the most beautiful beaches in Seychelles: Fairyland Beach and Anse Royale Beach. Also, amenities are only 5-10 minutes walk from the property.
The owners and all staff are very professional, welcoming and helpful.

This was our second stay here. We returned because of the great location- beach, shops, take- aways just a few steps away. Good starting point for excursions. You are right between locals, not a secluded luxury place. Anse Royale is great with kids, it has calm water and very lively underwater wildlife.
Staff was really friendly and flexible. There are only a few rooms so it is really nice to get aquainted and chat with the other guests & staff. Apartements have been recently redecorated.
I recommend staying here.
Apartments are located near Anse Royale beach, which is great for swimming (no waves) and snorkeling. You can find everything you need (supermarkets, ATMs, restaurants, gas station) nearby.
The kitchen is very well equipped, there is an oven, microwave, toaster.
The location is close to the airport and other beautiful south beaches.
Owners of the place, Daniella and David, were helpful from the start, they organized a transfer from the airport, assisted with car rental.
Absolutely fantastic people! They let us store our luggage and shower before our midnight flight, also a special key was provided for our last day after check out! The appartment is really big and very clean with a beautiful ocean view. The location is great - right in the centre of Anse Royale - you can simply walk to the markets, take away, supermarkets… The villa also has access to the beach and sunbeds. Overall, very nice experience, Thank you!
we had fantastic stay . Natali, Rudy and Patric were warm and friendly and super helpful with any ask we had. the location is perfect 2 minutes from Anse Royal, maybe the prettiest beach in Mahe. the value for money is great. Most of the time we cooked for ourselves and had takeaway from a local food canteen close by (sega) and enjoyed family meals on the balcony. we also rented a car and visited around Mahe , jardin du Roi and other beaches.
The hostess is the most friendly and responsive person.
You have everything you might need - bathroom, full-equiped kitchen, large bed, a small pool to chill in and an amazing view to the ocean.
The road to the chalet is rather steep, but it's okay if you like a bit of exercising (or if you rent a car).

Beach front, you just open the back door of the property and there is beach. Big room with big hall and clean bathroom, Very clean and comfortable I could see the beach from the balcony very close to my eyes. Shops, supermarkets and fast food are walking distance. The owner is very friendly. The staff (Linda and Mahendran) are extra ordinary friendly and accommodating.
Very underestimated property! View from the room and restaurant is gorgeous! Waking up every day to the sound of waves, lots of birds and flying foxes, very green area, like jungle. Staff are super nice and welcoming, very accommodating and responsive and helpful . Food is good, hotel is clean and new, 2 min to the amazing beach, local restaurant and shops.
The host was really nice and helpful to us. She helped us organize tours, prepared breakfast at convenience and helped us as mucha s she could when available.
The view from the Villa to Anse Royale is really nice and the bus stop is right down the road. You can easily go up the road without car, just not convenient if carrying heavy things.
