Very nice and welcoming staff. The room was spacious, well lit, very clean and had a nice fragrance welcome us. Breakfast meal options were limited but very rich and excellently prepared. Our room had direct view of Retezat snowy mountain tops. We hope to stay here again - there are still plenty of things to visit in Hunedoara.

1. Deva fortress.
2. the Corvin Castle
3. the ruins of the Sarmizegetusa Regia (the capital of Dacia)
4. as the Prislop monastery (the main monastery in Transylvania)

The mountains surrounding the city are very beautiful and there are a lot of touristic attractions in the area: Hateg reservation, the Retezat Moutains, Dacian Fortresses of the Orăștie Mountains and the Corvin Castle in Hunedoara. However, going around the city can be challenging.

Small city, ugly, with nothing to do.
Small city, ugly, with nothing to do. Surroundings are ok, so either you go there for 1 night travelling, or, if you go for more, you need to drive every day to the places around (not that close, maybe ~1 hour drive.
The property is just across the bridge from the center of Hațeg, and has a large yard, with plenty of parking spots.
Everything around looks new: the rooms are large, clean, and tastefully furnished. Although I've seen shower cabins with radio installed in other places, this was the first time I experienced one that was actually functional!
Air conditioning but also insect screens installed at the windows.
A common kitchen, with many useful appliances (microwave, gas stove, fridge, coffee machine, toaster, etc.) was available.
Clean, very easy check in. Veri cozy rooms, kitchen has all you need. It' s a perfect place to relax and enjoy the silence, the wheater, you will find here a very nice "watchtower". The area ia full with tourist atraction, Sarmisegetuza (the Dacian fortress Sarmisegetuza), is close, You can fiind very close a monestery Prislop, also near Hateg City aprox 10 km is a bison reservation. Also you can go and enjoy the nature, is a mix of hills and mountains.
The room was spacious and very comfortable, with facilities on par with large brand hotel chains. The building seems fairly new and is well maintained, with a soothing interior design. I was surprised at the fairness of the prices (both the room rate at the reception, which was the rate I booked in advance, and the mini bar items, priced similarly to a supermarket). The view of the mountains from the window was the cherry on top of the cake.
A cozy place to spend some time. It is a perfect location if you want to see the Geopark. The place is situated in the central part of Hațeg. There are some nice restaurants around, as well as shops and bakeries. There is a kitchen with all the essentials, so you can cook if you want.
The staff are friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place.
First we were impress by wonderful welcome with beautiful smile and kindness of Andrea, the director of hotel.She accommodate us according with our demands.Beautiful hotel,comfortable rooms,spacious,clean and modern. The breakfast was plenty and diverse..Excellent service and pleasant staff.

It was overall a really pleasant experience staying there with my family. The room was very neat. Towels are always replaced everyday. We never ran out of toiletries. It's also near all the popular supermarkets. The staff were accommodating. After leaving, we could only think of planning our next vacation in Hațeg. We absolutely loved our stay.
The rooms were clean, very comfortable and spacious, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. Great WiFi connection, secure parking spaces. I was able to charge my electric vehicle. I highly recommend Absolute Residence for anyone visiting Hateg and Retezat Mountains.
We really appreciated our hosts, who were extremely friendly and ready to help. Our room was nice, spacious and clean, and so was the common kitchen. The house is a few minutes drive from Hațeg. It is one of the last houses from the street, so its surrounding is calm and quite green.
The room was very clean. The parking was private and secured with CCTV. Great value for money. The hotel owner was very polite. We arrived late and we couldn't find a place to eat. He quickly made a few calls and arranged us a place where we could go and eat. Definitely recommend!
The shared kitchen is fully equiped and you can also have coffee there free of charge, the rooms are clean, in the evening and through the night it is very quite, the great countryside silence.
I would definitely recommend it for a stay near Haţeg.
Very good location to visit Hateg county, Hunedoara, Retezat mountains, Sarmizegetusa and the dacic vestiges, Jiu's valley.
