This is the perfect apartment in every way. Fresh and inspired renovation, all new appliances, very comfortable furniture, fully equipped kitchen, very good central heating, 3 separated small teraces (one for the bedroom, one for the second room, and one for the kitchen, with a smoking area with very comfortable chairs), dish washer, washing machine, even a high-end coffee maker with a coffee grinder.
Everything is cosy, nice, fresh, and also very quiet - no sounds from the neighbours, no sounds from the street. Bonus: cute white elegant cats watching the neighbourhood from a window across the street 🥰

The apartment is extremely clean and beautifully decorated. It has its own parking spot, which is very convenient. All the amenities are present as in the description. The hosts are super friendly and responsive. I highly recommend it.

I loved Severin's Fortress, it was such an amazing find and I could have stayed all day. The city itself is pedestrian friendly with a lot of options for eating. The weather wasn't great and the fountains weren't on but that's about the only bad thing I could say about the stay.

It is a border town with all the problems that come with...
It is a border town with all the problems that come with that. I cycled from Serbia and there was a shocking amount of dead dogs on the road. Then, terribly, there were young girls working as sex workers on the first off ramp. Just shocking. The Romanian Government has to help these people. It was so sad to see them.

The room was very basic but perfect for a one night stay.
The room was very basic but perfect for a one night stay. There was a restaurant on location in the inner yard of the building, in a beautiful garden setting. The food was delicious! Because of the restaurant, the garden may get noisy in the summer months but it was pretty quiet at the beginning of October. There were many cars parked on the street so it may get tricky to park in peak season. The city is easy to get around in and the city center is a 20 minute walk from the hotel.

It's a good location for using as homebase and then doing roadtrips every day in the surrounding area.
City center also looks very nice with quite renovated buildings. A walk near the Danube river during the day is also great.

Absolutely the best price\quality ratio you can expect! Everything was perfectly clean, cleaner than some 4 & 5 star hotels I've visited;
There were water bottles\soft drinks\great coffee as a compliment;
The bathroom was perfect - there were even makeup removal pads & single use toothbrushes;
There was a smartTV with Youtube & Netflix
The hotel is ideally situated in the historic part of the town. close to parks, tourist attractions and bars, restaurants. the staff are helpful and kind. we liked the restaurant. the rooms were also clean and tidy.
