I must admit that the atmosphere of the hotel was exceptional.
Breakfast was delicious. They also served coffee with the best coffee bean.

It is a border town with all the problems that come with...
It is a border town with all the problems that come with that. I cycled from Serbia and there was a shocking amount of dead dogs on the road. Then, terribly, there were young girls working as sex workers on the first off ramp. Just shocking. The Romanian Government has to help these people. It was so sad to see them.

The room was very basic but perfect for a one night stay.
The room was very basic but perfect for a one night stay. There was a restaurant on location in the inner yard of the building, in a beautiful garden setting. The food was delicious! Because of the restaurant, the garden may get noisy in the summer months but it was pretty quiet at the beginning of October. There were many cars parked on the street so it may get tricky to park in peak season. The city is easy to get around in and the city center is a 20 minute walk from the hotel.

It's a good location for using as homebase and then doing roadtrips every day in the surrounding area.
City center also looks very nice with quite renovated buildings. A walk near the Danube river during the day is also great.

Amazing vibrant city located on the Danube river bank overlooking Serbia. Located in Western Vallachia at the border with Serbia and only 1.5h form Bulgaria Drobeta is the Eastern Balkans busiest transit hub. Beautiful fin de siecle architecture full of Art Nouveau details, amazing parks and what’s most important beautiful souls.
Great city infrastructure with all typical motorised traveller would expect from. Thank you for hosting me Drobeta !

After two vacations in Romania and staying at 8 different places, this might be the best place we've been at. The apartment is close to the city center, and has easily available parking spots. There are plenty of stores, restaurants and bars nearby.
The place is nicely furnished and clean, feels homely, and has all necessary comforts for one to enjoy their stay. The hostess was extremely nice and welcoming, and she even took time to write in our own language when needed. We'll gladly stay there again.
It’s a long time since I felt so welcomed at a hotel. I was in Severin due to a burial and arrived too early (06:30) at the hotel. Even though the receptionist was not there, the employees tried to help me and they managed to get me a room. the rooms are very nice, clean and stylish. especially the bathroom. And the best thing about this location is that they have one of the best restaurants in house 😁

First positive impression was the staff's attitude towards the visitors. No matter we planned to do both the check-in and check-out outside of their work hours the process was well-described and smooth for us. The next pleasant feeling was the interior and the nice smell of the hotel premises. There are also parking lots outside.
The hotel is located at the heart of Severin's center. Room was comfy, clean, quiet with an air conditioning that could keep you worm or cold. I did not had breakfast, only tea.
There is no parking dedicated to the hotel, but one can be found on the street. It's free.
The room was very big, spotless and smelled nice. The bed was king size and very comfortable. The location was excellent, near the pedestrian area of Drobeta and the restaurants. Good value for money. The owners were nice and helpful. We'll be back for sure.

We loved it. The hotel looks amazing, it is squicky clean with an excellent mattress and wonderful hosts. I cannot praise it enough. Plus the value that you get for your money is outstanding. I would stay here any time I visit the city.
Probably one of the most comfortable and congenial hotels i have visited Staff frequently with pleasant smile. Excellent bed, large room, good coffee on the house as often as you like, good breakfast and great dinner.

Hotel is well positioned, on the main street, it has a supermarket and a pharmacy near the entrance. The room was big, clean and well equipped. The staff was kind, professional and responsive.
We appreciated the fact that our triple room was spacious, clean and the beds were comfortable. It is very convenient that there is a 24 hour supermarket close to the hotel.
