First time in Romania, could not and will not fault anything. Room are very pleasant, spotlessly clean. Shower a bit small, but dine the job. Price wise, very good value for money. Would recommend to anyone touring the area of transylvania. Well done to the hosts, who speak very good English.

It was an absolutely amazing stay. The hosts were super nice, cool and welcoming. The house is beautiful both inside and outside, a lot of art, with a lot of love and soul put into it, there are so many details and great decoration. Everywhere you look you see art. It is in a great location in a wonderful resort next to Sinaia with amazing mountain views, a garden with a barbecue and free parking nearby. The breakfast was gorgeous, we were right on Easter and there was everything, even Easter eggs and tinsel, home made cakes and everything was so well decorated. We are extremely satisfied with the overall attitude and regret that we were only there for 1 night. Our stay far exceeded our expectations, the photos do not show even a small part of the beauty of this place. We recommend everyone to visit it.

Not much food choices - after 6 most fast food joins were for sweet food. The restaurants were not great - Sinaia has better choices. The grocery shops are ok, parking was fine and the place is walkable. A lot of the people did not speak English or pretended not to because we felt like they did not want to interact with us when paying or asking a question. The view, however, is amazinf and we did not tire of it.

Make sure you have about 1 more hour than you Google maps show you - traffic jam is usual issue there, starting from Predeal or Azuga you will partially drive and partially stop like every 5 minutes.
City is quite long, parking lots are more or less available. You can find several different supermarkets. Nice hiking abilities, most popular is started near Caraiman monastery - but don't try to move far with your car, better place it near Telecabină.
Cantacuzino castle and park is worth to see.

The prices for the cable car in Bușteni are excessive. 190 lei for a round trip to Bucegi.
So, in order to go hiking on the Bucegi Plateau, you need to get up the mountain with some means. Every option is very expensive. We waited in line for the cable car, for the ascent, for at least 1 hour and a half.
I recommend the restaurant and terrace at Hotel Silva, next to the cable car. Superb view and exceptionally delicious food. Congratulations to the staff at the restaurant of Hotel Silva in Bușteni.

Busteni is great for relaxation. I would not recommend it to young people looking for club parties.
Casa Acutei is the perfect place if you want to enjoy great food served by welcoming waiting staff.
- Good location (quiet area, next to the cable car and not very far from downtown also);
- Nice mountain view (including from the restaurant’s terrace);
- Clean and warm rooms;
- Mini bar, slippers, hairdryer in the room;
- The kindness of the housemaids;
- The hotel has its own restaurant (diverse menu, good food and service) which is a big plus;
- The private parking of the hotel is rather small, but there is quite a large public parking next to the hotel at affordable prices (15 lei/approx. 3 euros per day);
- Mini markets nearby.
We spent one night at Kayus, as soon as we stepped in we were welcomed by the kind staff, we booked the hot tub in advance and it was amazing!! had drinks brought to us and the staff looked after us, made sure we were happy, check in and out was very easy, received a coffee on the house before we left, will definitely return if ever in Busteni. One of the top stays in Romania, service is excellent, well done!
Everything was great! the room and bathroom were very spaceus and clean! The hotel seems to be brand new and the rooms look exactly as in the photos. We were a bit late for breakfast but the stuff keep everything for us for another 30 min so we can enjoy all the varieties and drink our coffee without rush. We really appreciated it! We will come back for sure :)
We learned that this house is the first one built in Busteni. We spent a night in a very cosy and cool room. We had a firm and wide bed. The room is decorated in a very tasteful way.
The hosts are extremely hospitable people who made our stay very comfortable.
We enjoyed a breakfast with local products, very delicious.

Amazing cozy place, sparkling clean, very close to the centre at aprox 5 min from the train station. The host was amazing she left us coffe, tea, water, wine and chocolate. The garden was also really great you can enjoy a beautiful view to the mountains and the Caraiman Cross. Also if you want, there is a barbecue at the place available for cooking.
We booked this hotel due to Nepali chef, the breakfast was amazing as the Nepali cook serve you fresh omelette/pancake. Also there are plenty of options and everything is freshly cooked. Even the lunch and dinner was very delicious.
Restaurant is bit busy but its due to the superb food/service.
It is a very clean place and perfect for one night !

The impeccable service we have received from the staff at Royal Inn Busteni, from the moment when we’ve parked we were greeted by Cristi and Catalin who kindly took our luggage inside our room. Great upgrade room and amazing surprise with the added history of the residence. What a 5* treat !
The host's attitude was amazing, very welcoming, assisted us with everything throughout our stay. The accommodation itself was very clean, provided us with amenities, and few tiny gifts in the room that you wouldn't find in a 5 star hotel. Would definitely return here. 😊
The hotel itself and the view from the balcony is beautiful. It is located on a quiet street on one side of the city but still it is a good location. Lidl is nearby and the center is within walking distance. The breakfast was good with a few house dishes.
