Fantastic location! Right in the heart of Brasov. Comfortable and spacious unit, with tea kettle and fridge. A few instant coffees and tea as well. Parking can be a challenge, as hotel is on a pedestrian street. Best suggestion is Livada Poștei ("După Ziduri") Parking (search on goggle). Costs 24 Lei for 24-hours, and you can pay with the T-Park app. It is about 5-7 min walk to hotel, just slightly cobblestone. We carted our bags. You could also drop your bags off at the intersection of Strada Michael Weiss (pedestrian street hotel is on) and Strada Muresenilor. It's a busy road, so be quick unloading bags, or else cars will back up (and some Romanians aren't patient, lol).

The old centre of Braşov makes for a great place to stay.
The old centre of Braşov makes for a great place to stay. It is highlighted by beautifully coloured houses, excellent restaurants, and a flourishing cafe culture.
The only issues with the city came due to our visit coinciding with the high season. In summer, the weather gets very hot and the city ends up crawling with tourists.

An easily walkable old town that offers charming architecture, a great choice of restaurants and a range of viewing points to capture the charm of Braşov. Well sited to act as a base to visit Ban and Peles Castles, or the fortified churches of the region. The city is enhanced by bush walks and a series of festivals across the summer months. Well worth a couple of nights on a Romanian hinterland itinerary.

Perfect city to use as a base for sightseeing around transilvania. A lot of good restaurants and cafes. For Italian foods, we love pizza at Cucinino Restaurant, it is so good and taste just like pizza in Italy. For Romanian foods, we went to Segiana and we love Samale which was quite delicious, also the bread and fried pork fat are on the house and they are quite tasty. Both restaurants offer very good services , waiters and waitress are very well trained and pleasant.

We visited the interactive science museum, had a great day at adventure park, spent a few hours at brasov zoo, there is a place called alpin magic land ( a must go is you have kids), we went for brasov center and had the best ice cream, there is also a 15 min train ride in the area. corsi mall is great for grabing a snack, even afi mall is ok with huge food court. Go for sergiana restaurant if you want to try authentic romanian cuisine (lots of branches throughout all brasov) both malls have a little shop in food court with amazing waffles- i cant remember the name.
The hotel was absolutely horrible. The room was 30+ degrees centigrade at night and it was absolutely impossible to sleep. We got a fan, but did not at all solve the problem.
The breakfast was really poor quality and the breakfast area really old run down.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEN.
We moved to a different hotel in Braşov old town at the same price level and it was really good. POOR POOR POOR QUALITY. STAY AWAY
