I recently stayed at this Airbnb and had a pleasant experience. The place was **very clean and comfortable**, making it a relaxing environment. One of the highlights was the **jacuzzi**, which was really enjoyable, but I did notice the water had a slightly strange, humid smell. It wasn’t a major issue, but something to be aware of.
The **kitchen** was another great feature, especially with the BBQ setup—perfect for grilling and enjoying meals outdoors. Overall, it was a great stay, with just a minor concern regarding the jacuzzi water. Would definitely recommend for a peaceful getaway!

The Museum of Music & Instuments of the Indian Ocean is not to be missed! Maison Folio is also worth a visit to see both the house and beautiful garden. We ate dinner at Chez Alice - best to pre-book as it is popular. We had the plat du jour for 22 Euros and were very satisfied with both the quality and quantity of the food.
It would have been better to stay at least 2 nights in Salazie and done some walking in the surrounds.
Alice, the landlady, is incredibly friendly. She shows you what hospitality means!
We even got a small pineapple from her garden as a gift.
Alice speaks perfect English.
The house is on a small hill and you have a nice view (you can even see waterfalls).
You have a lot of space to spread out. The terrace on both sides is also very large.
The small towns of Salazie and Hell Bourg are not far from here.
We felt very good and had a great time!
On the top of it there was a unbelievable rainbow when we arrived.
An incredible beautiful place to stay for some days. Everything new and comfortable, with parking slot, and a nice garden. Amazing view on the surrounding mountains. Breakfast outside in the sun was just awesome. All highlights of Salazie are easy to reach. And really worth mentioning are the incredibly nice hosts who answered every question and request and made you feel really welcome!
The location was lovely, the mountain views from the pool were stunning, and the grounds were overall look and feel of the hotel were all really good. Most of the staff were quite helpful and friendly, but the service, particularily in the dining area, was average at best.
Christel is a very friendly and helpful host. She makes you feel as a part of her family and like if you were at home. Moreover is an amazing cooker. The place is easy and cozy (not a luxurious hotel) but with everything that you need, and next to Mafate cirque.
Very accessible to Salazie cirque.
Sebastian is the friendliest host! There is nothing he won’t do and he makes the best food. We stayed 3 nights and we felt right at home here
