Facing the Tagus River and built on seven hills, charming Lisbon is one of the oldest cities in the world. It offers unique tram rides, intimate Fado performances, great dining venues and much more.
The city is famous for its districts: the Belém's famous monuments; the Alfama's labyrinthine streets, bars and small shops; and the trendy Alcântara's docks. Lisbon’s most popular nightlife and shopping venues are located in Bairro Alto, while the traditional heart of the city beats rhythmically in the Baixa.
Enjoy a walk in the greenery of Jardim Botânico, admire the architecture of the Jerónimos Monastery or explore Feira da Ladra flea market. The Chiado area serves the city's best traditional Portuguese food. No meal is complete without some famous pastéis de nata!

Our Tour Guide Kazi from Tour7Portugal was one of the most incredible private two days we had in Portugal. He went above and beyond to take us to all the Lisbon attractions including Sintra and Cascais, he took pictures of us, was well mannered, on time and the most incredible tour guide we have ever used. He brought us to eat at several great true Portuguese restaurants during our full day private tours. We loved Kazi after two days of touring with him, he is now considered a true trusted friend....that's how amazing he is. Top Notch Tour Guide in Many areas of Portugal.
We also ate at Pinocchio by Rossio square. The food there was great and the wait staff was top notch. The waiters treat you like family... you must get the shrimp, clams and the steak. We went here twice that's how much we loved it. We also ate at Sea Me which was delicious and had a great concept for seafood.
We stayed at the Lumiares which was the most incredible hotel, perfectly located, apartment living instead of rooms, spot on service, close to the funicular because Lisbon is hilly. Very centrally located. Amazing service on all levels from the front desk, waitstaff, great pizza place downstairs, amazing rooftop upstairs. A true Gem.

To come there just a week before Christmass is a top. Lisabon lighting everywhere and every street. Not ovecrowded just calme or alive you choose what you love more. Very interesting trips to near places like beaches in Coparica or castles like Sintra (Pena and Moros) etc.

Despite the hills, it is a walkable city, and the views are lovely. We find the shopping to be excellent, but the cafes are worth the trip. It is always fun to find a crowded cafe and join in for a snack and glass of green (or red or white) wine, or draft beer. The metro system is excellent, and the the trams and funiculars are always fun.

Nice and beautiful city. you can easily to take public transportation to get around. Much tasted food, like sea food rice, pasteis, roast pork. Price is fair. There are many historical sites worth to visit: Sintra, palace of Pena, Quinta da Regaleira, Cascais. Jerónimos Monastery Pastéis de Belém. Belem Tower. Recommend to use Lisboa Card for traveler.

Clean, beautiful Cobblestone streets hard to walk on.
Clean, beautiful Cobblestone streets hard to walk on. Watch where you put you feet. Lots of dogs walked, not all picked up!
Its a great city. People are lovely and friendly. Every transport accommodation needed is available. Always a helping hand ready to aid. Locals are very kind.
Hotels and hostels way out of cost proportion per night with the rest of the world. Way too expensive. These establishments are scalpers and carpet baggers! Prevents a more enjoyable visit to this lovely city. Locals are affected by the pricing.

It was best experience in my life
Nice place and nice stuff and specially hostel manager and owner was very supportive and kindness people
Hostel was clean and good fragrance all time and it is in city centre just near the metro and in almost city centre and very cheap price in the lisbon
Over all best for me
I recommend to everyone if you want cheap and best hostel for a long time stay
The best part is value for money. Compare to other hotels on the same level it was cheaper, for a reason, but still provide a good value for money.
The room is big, the food in the breakfast buffet is okay, the staff is great and helpful.
The location is also great, as it is not in the city centre but very close to a metro station and in a safe and green area.
Recommend hotel with comfy room, breakfast and helpful staff. Convenient location to both the main attractions of Lisbon (10 min from the city centre) and the airport (about 50 min), thanks to the proximity to a subway station (Sao Sebastiano).
The luggage storage after checking out is very much appreciated.
An absolutely fabulous hotel in the heart of Lisbon. Staff were helpful, super friendly (even the night shift) and the facilities were excellent. Quite possibly one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in! Congratulations to everyone at Browns Boutique Hotel, Lisbon.
