Facing the Tagus River and built on seven hills, charming Lisbon is one of the oldest cities in the world. It offers unique tram rides, intimate Fado performances, great dining venues and much more.
The city is famous for its districts: the Belém's famous monuments; the Alfama's labyrinthine streets, bars and small shops; and the trendy Alcântara's docks. Lisbon’s most popular nightlife and shopping venues are located in Bairro Alto, while the traditional heart of the city beats rhythmically in the Baixa.
Enjoy a walk in the greenery of Jardim Botânico, admire the architecture of the Jerónimos Monastery or explore Feira da Ladra flea market. The Chiado area serves the city's best traditional Portuguese food. No meal is complete without some famous pastéis de nata!

Lisbon is a small city, beautiful, charming and easy to get everywhere you want to go. Every street is a pleasure to visit. Be sure that on every street of the city you will meet tourists from other countries just like you. Food and drink is a bit cheaper than in other European cities. Lisbon will definitely not make you regret about your holiday.

Lisbon is a beautiful perfect city with lots to do and see. I think 2 full days in Lisbon is plenty to see everything unless you are doing extensive tours of the palaces, monuments, etc.
I would have extended by maybe a day to take a tour to Sintra and Cascais which we did not have time to do unfortunately.

Multicultural, vibrant city with a lot of sights and hidden gems.
I d recommend free walking tours, they give you a glimpse about histrory and the main sights and orientate you on where to go and what to visit next.
Besides the usual monuments in downtown, I really liked the National Tile Museum and the park around the Modern Art museum.

If are someone who wants to be transported into a different...
If are someone who wants to be transported into a different time yet enjoy all the modern amenities - Lisbon is the answer. Portuguese people are very art loving and technically advanced and you can see that in their new architecture and designs. Things are affordable by US standards and it is working to their own detriment. So as a tourist we have to respect to the local culture and sensitivities. There are several areas are town where you can find a cluster of restaurants. Lisbon food seen it comparable only to Paris and New York and one of the top three in the world. I am not a brand queen but for those who are interested, there are michelin restaurants everywhere and affordable too. I like local joints and they are the coolest places. Try the local seafood specialities.

Listen folks, it’s a cheap hotel in general but good standard. Too sterile vs the work paid 5 star hotel on same city but did the job very well for an extra night. Convenience stores near by. I did not have breakfast there so I cannot comment on the food. Location was good but uphill on Lisbon pavements with Willy bag on a rainy day not a great combination. Overall very pleased with product I got.
5 star service throughout and you’re treat like a VIP. One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in and can not fault the service of every single member we encountered. Hotel itself is beautiful with an amazing selection for breakfast.
A beautiful hotel in a perfect location for walking around the centre of Lisbon. The service was excellent . Having an outdoor pool was a great bonus . It was truly worthy of its 5 stars
Has everything that one would love about boutique hotels. Best value for money in Lisbon. Shout out to Mayk and all the staff who were lovely throughout the entire stay.
One of the best neighbourhoods in Lisbon. Well connected with airport and city centre. We got a free room upgrade which was pleasant surprise. Overall great stay!
