The location is perfect, the house is amazing it looks like going back in past. The owners are very helpful, good breakfast and toilet with hot water 24/7. There is a bidet.

Francisco was to most attentive host and his rooms were clean, modern and the common room was lovely and well stocked. Equipped with laundry facilities too! We loved it all.

This hotel and albergue is located in a fantastic old building full of old world charm and stately furnishings. Also the owners are the very best! They are exceedingly helpful and couldn’t have been nicer. Our room was quite large and very well furnished and the bathroom had a large shower and everything worked well. The swimming pool in the back was great for cooling off our feet after the long days walk and they had a washboard and place to line dry clothing. Breakfast was very good and it was available at any time we wanted.
First visit to this Hotel and we loved it. We were sent here on a referral from another hotel as one of our party has limited mobility and the Hotel Lusitana was extremely accomodating. The pool, full spa, outdoor bar and restaurant are all top notch. Plenty of parking. The staff was very nice, particularly Ms. Joana at reception. We will stay there again in the future for sure.
The hotel is simply fabulous and relaxed. The rooms are very well designed, very comfortable and super clean. We loved the spa and indoor pool and we strongly recommend getting a massage there. The restaurant has great food and we didn't even want to go out for dinner.
One of the high points was without any doubt the staff.

we were hiking the Camino from Lisbon to Santiago and weren’t sure how far we could walk. when we arrived in Golega we looked to see what accommodation was available. Quartos do Lagar seemed good and we booked and then arrived 15 minutes later. The host was charming, the room was comfortable, and the water in the shower was piping hot. All we could ask for!
Francisco our host was beyond helpful leading up to our stay. I was doing the Camino walk and he even offered to give me a ride into Golega for the last 5km of my walk. I did politely decline. He also offered a taxi service for my mother who was coming in by train. He greeted us with the friendliest of welcomes and even changed our room free of charge.
The best service and quality for such a low price.
Smooth check-in and check-out, staff were superb friendly and very responsive and the Inn looks great from the inside, with good internet, clean bathrooms and facilities, spacious rooms.
I recommend to anyone traveling to or around Golegã and i’d definitely book here again without hesitation !
The location in regard to the Golega Horse Fair could not be bettered, main reason for our stay!
The property is beautiful and has real character. It was lovely to be close to some of the horses albeit in their stables.

A welcome bit of luxury on the Camino. Bedroom and bathroom were beautiful; spotless and very luxurious. The hotel prepared a packed breakfast for us so we could set off early.
