Beautiful place to stay for some rest, Gardens and surrounding areas well maintained, lots of space for peace, lovely smell of rosemary through. Great size rooms with balcony or terrace. Lovely pool to cool down in. Pedro at the bar was friendly and made great cocktails. Had dinner in the restaurant was beautifully cooked - even got given a birthday cake with a candle for dessert.

It’s a huge compliment to Sylvie and JC that this is the third time we’ve been to Monte Bougainvillea. The apartments are lovely, everything has been thought of, the grounds are great and the setting is perfect. Little extras from Sylvie like home made preserves and some home cured olives were a lovely touch, and the welcoming provisions so thoughtful and helpful.

The room was perfectly clean and the shared kitchen fully equipped with everything. The pool looked great, although we did not have time to use it. Our room got a huge terrace which was a lovely extra. The self check-in was great and smooth.

Very friendly hosts, showed us around and introduced our bungalow, which was just great and consisted of 2 rooms, with separate exists. So, you can get some privacy, when travelling with kids. Kitchen and possibility to cook meals on your own was also a good option, additionally It's possible to use grill on the Villa's territory. In addition to classic continental breakfast there was an option to get some boiled eggs and gluten free bread/pastry. It's possible to buy some beverages (soft drinks, beer/wine) from the fridge on the common kitchen. Also we used a laundry service, for additional price. You can get to Olhão or Faro in about 20-30 min by car. Closest town with a nice supermarket is just 10 min away.

It is a wonderful place, quiet but not too remote. The room was spacious, clean, modern. The pool area is great with good quality furniture to relax after a hot day exploring the algarve.
