Check-in was smooth. Bed with curtain is great for privacy and also had a personal light and outlet to charge your phone. They offered a transfer service to the port for pilgrims who are taking the ferry to Spain. It's not far but this is a l nice gesture! There are also soaking tubs for sore feet which ia pretty unique.

It was an exceptional heating system. It had a balcony which had a fabulous view of the sunrise. Our host was so lovely. He cared for us while we were quite unwell. He greeted us at the gate, and did not seem deterred that we were unwell. He attended to all our needs such as an early check in, brought cups of tea and water to our room (again because we were unwell). The breakfast was above and beyond anything we had so far in Portugal. He offered a gracious spread of toast, cheese, meats, croissants, juice, muffins, tea, coffee. He also made sure the bathroom was clean for us when we were unwell. Thank you so much. You made us feel at home.

Nice place along the way with a big garden, balcony and living room to hang out. What I loved the most was the pilgrims dinner where I got to meet the best people along my way 🙏🏼 Had a wonderful time there which I'll never forget. The dinner was very yummy and the guy was very attentive towards us. It was a nice atmosphere with some nice guitar music afterwards.
