Cute little place right in town. Room/apartment itself with spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. The outside courtyard was lovely place just to relax. Owner was lovely and very helpful with suggestions. They helped us do our laundry. Would highly recommend and definitely stay again.

This is a very small town with few choices. Our place had a nice little common area. It’s not new but it was spotlessly clean and simple. The beds were comfortable and there was a heater in the room for nighttime.

It is a small village in the end of continent, we just love that this IS NOT hot touristic spot. Yes, you'll find find restaurants in and around, wide beach with small bar on it. But in the nigth there is only sound of wind and ocean, and that what we need on holidays!

Lovely area and locals are nice and helpful.
Lovely area and locals are nice and helpful. Easy to get around and there are some reasonable basic services available such as guesthouses, restaurants. I didn’t see a gas station, ATM or grocery market so plan to stop elsewhere for those.

Very cute small village in the middle of paradise.
Very cute small village in the middle of paradise. Super spot for hikers and nature lovers. There is a minimarket and some restaurants open even in out of season times. When I am back to Algarve, I am definitely coming to Carrapateira again.

This is an extremely relaxing community with easy access to some of the most dramatic and beautiful natural features I have ever seen. Bordeira beach is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. Amado beach is beautiful as well, but less dramatic and has more facilities. The village is quiet with several restaurants and plenty of parking for the beaches. There are countless hikes accessible directly from the village. Plenty of restaurants and snack bars

I loved the comfort and the clever lay out of the property.
I loved the comfort and the clever lay out of the property. the bed was really very comfortable with beautiful bedding and lovely towells. I didn't find the chairs at the table very comfortable but then I do have a bad back so need support. The staff were very pleasant and obliging. the only thing I would mention is that it said there would be tea and coffee in the room but I had not assumed they would be charging for each coffee pod at 1.5 euros which seemed mean in view of the price range of the property. Likely would not have hurt to have the coffee included at around 100euros per night. Otherwise everything else perfect

Carrapateira is a nice, sleepy little Algarve town that retains some old-fashioned charm. There's a useful mini-market and nice bistro with veggie options, and lovely coastal walks / beaches nearby.
Lovely little pension with a lot of care and detail put into it. Has a very nice courtyard full of flowers and is right next to the dunes and a short way away from the beaches. Carrapateira is also a nice little village that seems more charming than a couple of other places we saw along the coast. We were very positively surprised because we did not expect this place to be so nice. Breakfast is exceptional, staff is very nice and helpful and the location is perfect for exploring the nearby beaches and coastline.
If you don't mind to share the kitchen with another couple than this is a great place. Yes it's simple and you have to cross the hallway to get to your bathroom, but that is fine. If you are aiming for a place for a week to cook and live, than this is probably not for you. For that you miss a bit of privacy. But if you wanna stay on the beach for a few days and have breakfast or lunch at home this is perfect.
There are few good places to stay in the Costa Vicentina. This is an ideal rural type hotel on the side of a valley with wonderful views and trails that leave from the hotel. 15 minutes from amazing Praia do Amado and Bordeira beaches. We stayed in a cabin they had away from the main hotel that housed 7 with its own kitchen, BBQ and deck.
Fantastic place! Very tranquil, location is in the middle of countryside with no cars or any other disturbances. At the same time, larger cities like Sagres are easily reachable by car within 15 minutes. Hotel itself is amazing, very atmospheric.
But the main highlights are three of its workers - adorable dogs!
Rosa and Pedro were excellent hosts, they responded very quick and took immediate actions if something happened. We loved the view from the house and the small village Carrapateira. The house has good cooking facilities and a cute small garden to chill. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Case do Miradouro.
The place is great to relax and we loved the view. Floor heating and a fire place added to the comfort. The apartment was very well equipped with washing machine and dishwasher. Besides being near to the beaches of Amado and Bordeira, it's a good starting point for beautiful walks in the countryside.
Olivia’s place exceeded our expectations, considering the price and the season. The room was big, super clean and cozy. The view is amazing since the house is located on top of the hill and the village is very quiet. We loved every minute spent in Carrapateira, highly recommended.
Estela is an amazing host. She supplied us with lots of tasty food for breakfast. We shared a refrigerator with our friends and had a small shared kitchen downstairs. She did our laundry and did not charge us. The apartment is very close to the town square in a quiet neighborhood.
In a small town along the Fisherman trail I did feel really welcome and at home. Nice common area with free coffee to welcome us and roof terrace.. showers also super hot and clean. Laundry spot and hangers. Really best value and feeling like home
Excellent place to stay in Carrapateira. I am hiking and I stopped there to rent a dorm bed for one night. There is enough space, good atmosphere, the hosts are friendly and helpful and there is a well equipped kitchen as well. 5 stars rating!

Lovely accomodation, simple but cosy room, fully equipped kitchen. Close to a great beach. Good wifi. Pay attention - there is no big shops in Carrapateira, only one minimercado
Quirky hotel, very clean. Nice area to sit outside the room. Great swimming pool. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable about surrounding area. Lovely breakfast.
