The pool and lobby area were beautiful. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The price is high for what you get, but we knew this going in. You pay for location, right on the ocean. It's a 20 minute drive to get into town to do anything, so only stay here if you like the seclusion. Food and drink from the Pelican Grill was reasonably priced and good portions.
Our flight was changed last minute and we had to check out a night early. They charged a $125 cancellation fee. Nothing we could do about it, and I kind of get it. But the hotel was booked solid. I'm sure they booked out our room anyway and they didn't need to charge us.

Coconut Palms Inn was exactly what we were looking for in our stay in Rincón PR. On the beach ⛱️ with that soothing ocean wave sound while falling asleep at night after a day of activities.

The location was excellent, close to the beach and to a couple of restaurants, but not too close to a main thoroughfare or the center.
The rooms were very spacious.
The outside lockbox to put your roomkey in was a nice touch (so you can go to the beach without having to take your key).
The pool was nice, although the poolbar was just an empty shell now.
