Folwark Łękuk is mainly aimed at families and has lots of facilities, including a beach and boats, which didn't apply to us. We did however enjoy sitting out on the veranda overlooking the lake whilst the sun set. Our room was a reasonable size with a large bathroom. There are a couple of working level 2 EV chargers in the car park.

Most people seem to drive through Wydminy on their way to the better known places of the Polish lake district. In fact I did the same, but made a mental note to stop on the way back as it had a nice vibe as I passed through – which turned out to be accurate. It would make a nice alternative base to explore the surrounding forests and lakes. I intend to return for a longer stay.
