A historic city with a lovely old town square (currently under some renovation), a Hapsburg era hunting palace and pleasant grounds with castle ruins. Interesting to go back and forth across the bridge to the "twin city" on the Czech side and to have easy access to restaurants and cafes on both sides. It's also an easy day trip to drive to the Wielicka Salt Mine and underground cathedral near Krakow.

Like anywhere there are all sorts of people. Some are very friendly and interesting while others are cold and lacking culture. Without the language I found it difficult to get people to show their friendlier side. The main road up to the town square has been perpetually worked on for many years.
Very spacious and well-furnished apartment in a really great location. Beautiful view of the zameck and park across the street and the Olza River bridge to Czechia, and an easy walk around the corner to the town center. Wall decorations were attractive and interesting. The host provided very good information about free parking options. Appreciated the coffee and tea supplies and coffee maker. It was also nice to find a hair dryer which the listing did not mention. Excellent communication and check-in instructions from host.
It was a great apartment in the city centre of Cieszyn. We loved how spacious it was, and its location. The owners were very responsive online, but we didn't need to meet them -everything was provided for. They were very flexible with letting us have an extra person over at the end of our stay, without asking for extra money which we offered. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone, and stay there again in the future.
It was clean, nice, comfortable place with really friendly staff. We were there for two nights, but because it was really nice, we decided to stay one night extra and there were no problem to extend our stay. Everything in the apartment was really clean and tidy, very spacious wardrobe and chest of drawers. There were also an iron and hair dryer, extra towels, extra pillows, tea and coffee etc. I recommend and we will be back.
It was a perfect location for us. It was an easier walk from the Czech Republic rail station than the Polish rail station. Our room was on the ground floor but it was no problem.The room was spacious. The pizza restaurant had a good menu at a very reasonable price.
This place is wonderful. If you are looking for a beautiful location close to Cieszyn, look no further than Apartment Bawaria. The hosts are spectacular, and the amenities are exceptional.
Perfect location, 3 minutes to the main square, beautiful view from both sides of the apartment. Spacious, nicely arranged. Very quiet even though it is located in the city centre.
I suppose the "good things" about Dworek Cieszyński are its history (and probably former glamour), a very friendly host and its location barely 500 m from the old town Cieszyn.
