Best and biggest shower I have ever been in with plenty of hot water (even offered hair conditioner which seems to be rare in Peru).
Pool (although a little cold) was a bonus.
We arrived quite late (kitchen was about to close and no other food options close by). Staff helped arrange a meal from the kitchen to our room which was delicious.

It's very good located You enjoy the silence of the Nature and after 5 minutes walking you're in the Main road to ollantaytambo. Leandro was very kind he show me some places to do shorts hikes close to the river. And the corn tortilla in the breakfast was yummy.

The best way for not getting soroche or altitude sickness is to drive straight from the airport to the Sacred Valley and stay there at least the first 3 days of your stay in Cusco. This is the best way to get your body used to such a high altitude and avoid getting sick. Urubamba has great restaurants and hotels all around, so there’s plenty of choices for lunch and dinner. The weather is much warmer and nicer than Cusco and it’s a great hub for visiting the ruins around the place.

Urubamba is the perfect base from which to explore the Sacred Valley. It's also a quieter, less overtouristed alternative to Cuzco. Visitors can walk clear across town without being stopped by touts every few steps, but getting to Ollantaytambo, Moray and Maras is a breeze (and cheap). The town also has plenty of great dining options, all for much less than you'd pay in Cuzco, and it's perfect for people watching. It may seem a bit rough around the edges at first but within a day you'll find it comfortable and even homey.
The staff was lovely ,very polite, helpful and super friendly. We had a bad experience with trains being delayed in ollantaytambo due to the political situation in Peru and the staff was so caring and protective of us . They also brought us a bag with food to take to the train to Macchu Picchu , so thoughtful . I was traveling with my 2 young adult children and their support made the trip much easier bearing in mind we arrived to urubamba during a political chaotic time in Peru
There are 2 alpacas and 2 trampolines on property which kept our daughter entertained. The setting is beautiful, a peaceful oasis with gorgeous gardens and amazing staff. The included breakfast was very good as well. If you request the hotel to contact you regarding transportation, they will help you arrange a car service at very affordable prices.
The hotel and grounds are amazing! A piece of paradise in the sacred valley!! The staff were very helpful and friendly. The pools, both indoor and outdoor are fabulous!
I liked the sound of the optional activities, unfortunately most weren't able to be booked for a solo traveller.
