From the initial check in to check out, Geancarlos and the rest of the team were incredibly kind. The property was clean and inviting and the terrace was so cozy that I never wanted to leave it. Having been in Peru for two weeks, this was probably the cleanest bathroom I had been in with hot showers and a drain that worked! The AC was also a plus. When we told Geancarlos that we had to leave early for a tour, he opened breakfast on the terrace a bit earlier for us (and a few other guests) so we could have fried eggs, toast w/ jam, fruit, and coffee before we left! The location was perfectly situated in the middle of the town. I would definitely stay here again, thank you Casa Paracas!

Everything! Gorgeous place that should be 5 stars not 4! Originally booked this for one night before heading to a 5 star hotel, but this was 2000x times better so after one night in the five star hotel we cancelled our reservation and came back to La Hacienda! Such a relaxing place with incredible customer service and impeccable food!

I really liked Paracas.
I really liked Paracas. It's a small beach resort with plenty bars, restaurants and shops.
There appears to be only two ATM's and the one in the main section near the beach will charge you 25 soles a pop so bear that in mind.
It's great for visiting the National Reserve Park - you'd need to either hire a buggy/scooter or go with a tour in my opinion. It's big and it's beautiful. It closes at 4pm so you wouldn't want to leave it too late.
You can also visit Las Islas Ballestas - mini Galapagos in Peru. It's gorgeous and I'm not a bird lover. The boat trip alone is a winner for me
You can also go kayaking and there are two small water parks/water based activities along the beach too.
It's hot so don't forget the sunscreen. I was just there and it's April which is their Autumn.
I spent about 4 nights there and I really enjoyed just walking the beach and relaxing.

Paracas was not the best stop on my Peru trip.
Paracas was not the best stop on my Peru trip. First of all, lots of visitors got heavy stomach problems once in Paracas (it is probably the water). The best part is to visit the natural Reserva. The Islas Ballestas islands is not the best...I mean the boats are going there constantly full of tourists...I do not think it is the best for the animals that live there..We were told that due to climate change they are also not reproducing anymore so soon no Humboldt penguins or pelicanos will be there. The bets would be close this area from tourists...

Paracas has some really beautiful sights.
Paracas has some really beautiful sights. Ballestas islands are a must see and the national park is beautiful!
Paracas Beach is crowded and not very clean. And the minimarts are very expensive compared to other places in Peru- stock up on snacks and water before you you arrive!

We planned two full days, which was great for a relaxing vacation, but we could have done Paracas with one full day. Next time, I would plan to visit the Islas Ballestas at 8am the first morning, have lunch in town afterwards, then visit the National Reserve in the afternoon. Visiting the reserve in the morning was probably better, since the wind is a problem in the afternoon, but it could still be done in one day. Either way, if you're in Paracas you must see both the islands and the reserve. Plan for a ceviche lunch at Playa Lagunillas.

The visit to the Ballestas Islands is really worth it, and the quality of the tour is fair, but I regretted to not have been able to spend more time there; we went back about 30 minutes earlier than planned, and we stayed like barely 5 minutes to observe the sea lions from close.
The other main tour is the Paracas natural reserve, which in itself is beautiful, but the tour was not so great, as we made several stops which were not so necessary to me and when we finally made it to the main spot which was playa Lagunilla, we didn't have time to take a swim.

Cute little town to visit for a day and do the bird island excursion. Although the boats are packed and your knees will hurt from sitting in tight quarters. Everyone stood up once we got there and we had a hard time seeing anything. Beach is dirty, busy and not worth it. But it's Peru and it's interesting none the less.
Fantastic place. The owners ware very flexible with our stay dates with out extra charges. Facilities very good as for adults and as for children. Swimming pools very clean and children friendly. The apartment was more than we expected. Very clean, spacious and with the best view. Not very far from Pisco or Paracas downtown. Thank you. We definitely will come back and recommend to others.
The staff ROCK! We really enjoyed our stay here. It was peaceful, we had hot water in the showers, the breakfast was filling, the camper was clean, but the best thing was the staff. They did absolutely everything possible to our stay the best it could be. they are about a 12 minute walk from downtown so it’s nice and quiet.
Super friendly attentive staff
Rooms were comfortable and very clean
Fun Events programmed during our stay for adults and children
Spa services
Tour services localized at the hotel to Isla Ballestas
Short walking distance to Paracas boardwalk
Pet Friendly hotel
The location of the Property is excellent - In the middle of action and walking distance of Restaurants, Supermarket and Tours Agencies. The Staff is the Hotel is super friendly and oriented to service. Terrace has a good area with excellent view to the port.
The hotel is what you would expect for an economy hotel. The staff was friendly and the room was very clean. The glass doors opened for a wonderful breeze. The only complaint was there was a bar next door that blasted super loud music until midnight.
very nice Hostel, clean rooms, great outside area -
a little bit outside of town, but they offer free shuttle every day.
best part of this hostel is the staff (especially Odon) and the cute dog aki! loved our 4 night stay there.
This is the best hostel we have stayed in, in Peru. The staff were friendly, the breakfast tasty and the room was fantastic. We also had our washing done here too. Would definitely stay here again.
The room was supper clean. The location is fantastic, 5 min walking time from everywhere in town! I would recommend this hotel for everyone. Also the breakfast was really tasteful.
The stuff and the owner are the best, they will help you with everything, the location is perfect and the accommodation is super clean and comfortable. The prices are unbeatable
Super new and clean hotel - great quality and value. 2 mins walk to everywhere. Friendly service, hot water and one of the best breakfasts we've had in Peru.
