The room was spacious and nice. Big bathroom. Staff were friendly. Loveled to view to the massive sand dune behind the hotel. It felt I was the only person in the hotel. Hardly saw anyone. Which means is was quiet as well which I liked.

The property itself is very nice and idyllic. Also in the evening the mood is very nice while sitting in the garden. There is plenty of space to relax and to have privacy from other guests. Everything was clean and everyone was super friendly. The pool area was nice and we spent quite some time there.

Make sure you get the sandboard tours. The restaurant right on the left side of the hotel Curasi has great drinks and food. the price is very fair, and the portion extremely generous.
It is a very calm town almost everything will close around 11 pm on weekdays.. heard it gets crazy on the weekends. Enjoyed so much our time there.

Great place for a little roadtrip! The Huacachina Oasis is just one of the best places I have ever visited. It is a very small place to relax, do a dune buggy tour with sandboarding and then going to the Islas Ballestas to take a boat tour. It was great!

Huacachina is a beautiful place (especially looking over the desert), we stayed 2 nights and managed to book several excursions in the 3 days we spent there. We also managed to visit Paracas with an excursion booked from the hotel.

Ica is lovely!
Ica is lovely! A small oasis in the middle of a sandy desert. Very peaceful.A ton of restaurants and bars. Must go on the sand buggy ride which I would highly recommend, the drivers are nuts! The more we laughed, the more the driver would drive off on to yet another challenging sand dune. Fun! Definitely try out Sand boarding. It does seem scary but is easy to get hooked on.

I like this little city, or large pueblo, however you want to look at it. Compared to all the other towns along the coast this is probably the cleanest and nicest to visit (not counting Lima because it's sooooo much bigger). And I've visited more than 20 towns in Peru.

Ica or better Huacachina is a great place to be! It was awesome to see the town in the middle of the sand dunes. I also did the sandboarding trip which I liked a lot. However, I was not interested in the other possible trips (trip to the Islands, Pisco Sour and Wine tasting tour, or Canyon tour), so that one day would have been perfectly enough for me. However, I don't know how to better plan it with the buses, so I think 1 night stay is a must and you can only take the next bus in the next evening.
Location of hotel just steps from the lagoon and with huge dunes behind it is very picturesque.
Pool is very large, very clean and perfect for the hot afternoons. Could use a few more sun loungers however, considering the number of rooms available.
We left too early for breakfast but food in the restaurant was just so so from what we ordered.
Beds were decent but not great as were towels and linens.
Staff however were all great, especially Maria in the bar who was super sweet, friendly and best of all, on top of everything.
The hotel was very beautiful, nice decoration and good rooms, big enough and good things like fridge and fan. The host is a very nice person, you can ask him anything and he will help you of course. The location is so good, there is a Plaza Vea, Falabella, Ripley, etc, at just 2 minutes of walking in front and next to the street. Is so quiet at the time to sleep even when there's a road so close, so you don't have to worry about it. I'll definitely go to that Hotel if I go to Ica again.
I highly recommend Hospedaje Claudia for anybody wants to stay near the oasis but not with the party scene. This hostel is ultra clean, comfortable and felt very safe. The hosts are super helpful and accommodating. They arranged my sunset dune buggy ride, which was SO FUN!!! Like a roller coaster ride in the middle of a Lawrence of Arabia scene!! I highly recommend the dune buggy ride ! The rooftop breakfast was the best breakfast in Peru so far. It was a perfect stay for me.
I don't give 10* often, but my reviews are always honest. This hostel deserves all 10 hands down! It's everything a backpacker wants from a good hostel. Clean, spacious, great wifi, loads of chilling spaces, 2 rooftop terraces, place to wash your clothes, free coffee and tea and water, plates and cuttlery. Board games, books, fusball table. The owner is the nicest peruano I met! He gives so much information and helps with everything you need. Thank you
Nice area for the price , in all fairness , I knew that this was a kind of party hotel but it was the only hotel with one room available so I took it , the music goes till 2am , lots of girls in bikinis by the pool and young guys trying it impress them 😉 I'm 61 years old and out of that race but it was fun for my wife and I to watch them from the balcony , I recommend this place for anyone under 30 , Party on young people!! ☺️🤟🤟🤟
Really enjoyed the stay here. The pool area is very nice for relaxing, with the restaurant right beside it. The ceviche and pisco sours were really good and reasonably priced. The breakfast was also really nice with fresh local fruit, cheese and bread. Room was bare bones, but met our needs perfectly. Much prefer a hotel like this than some sterile Americanized versions we experienced in Paracas!
We loved Hospedaje Claudia, the staff were absolutely wonderful - very welcoming and went above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. The breakfast is absolutely fantastic - would highly recommend! Great location away from the hustle and bustle at night. Also the best bedding we’ve come across in Peru so far - so warm and comfortable!
Nice pool surrounded by some deck chairs. Great variety on the breakfast buffet. Nice bathroom attached to the dorm. Dormbeds had curtains and beds were fixed (no wobbly bunk beds). Also the sandboarding + buggy tour offered by the hotel was great fun.
Excellent place to stay in Huacachina. Beautiful property with many lounging areas and nice bar. Breakfast was good. Staff were helpful and kind. Hot water shower. The facilities are shared with the connected sister hotel.
I was surprised about the beauty of the backyard, given the hotels central location, it was quiet and peaceful, to sit and simply enjoy the green. The breakfast is simple but tasty, the room spacious and perfectly clean.
