IntiRumi Inn, hotel in Caraz

IntiRumi Inn features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Caraz. There is free private parking and the property provides paid airport shuttle service.

We truly loved our stay at IntiRumi Inn. The place feels like a piece of heaven on earth. The garden is full of fresh vegetables, flowers, little birds and butterflies. The rooms are spacious, equipped with very comfortable beds and all have a nice bathroom. On top of that you have a spectacular view. But the one thing that really made our stay unforgettable was the exceptional service. Everyone was super friendly and Mariam went out of her way to accommodate us. Every morning we we're spoiled with a splendid breakfast (fresh fruits, pancakes, homebaked bread, eggs and delicious tea) and I had the best pumpkin gnocchi ever for dinner. We also got some really great lunch packages (thank you Nico!) Nothing we asked was too much. Thank you so so much for everything!

Of all the places we stayed in Peru (17 in total), this was without a doubt our favorite ! Bely and George welcomed us warmly. They have created a beautiful little slice of paradise in Caraz and this was for us the perfect spot to end our holidays in this amazing country. Bely’s cooking was delicious (we highly recommend the “lomo saltado” ! ) and every morning we had a different kind of breakfast. George made us taste his homemade brews which were great after a day hike. Bely and George helped us organize our day trips to Laguna 69 and Laguna Paròn ! Truly a great experience and a great stay ! The accommodation was confortable, nicely decorated and very clean ! The shower had great pressure and warm water. All in all a perfect stay ! Thank you again Bely and George for your kindness and for your warm welcome ! We will fondly remember our karaoke night and the game of “sapo” ! Gracias para todo !

It’s a wonderful town very close to the lakes and famous mountains of the area, people are nice and if you fight a bit for lower prices is quite cheap (because in Perú you learn too late that if you’re a tourist everyone tries to charge you more for everything) besides that small detail which is something that happens in the whole country and not only in Caraz it was a wonderful place to visit. I highly recommend the Parón lagoon (you can walk right next to that one and after an hour or so you get to another lagoon with the paramount pictures mountain) and the 69 lagoon, is hard to get there but it’s worth the pain.
