My wife and I had the best time at Taypikala. It’s fair to say it’s been one of our best hotel experiences ever actually.
The reception team is great and there’s plenty of attention to every single detail. The restaurant team was also super lovely, and they were always checking on us during breakfast or dinner. Moises in particular gave us great recommendations for places to go and made us feel very special in every occasion.
Recommendation for future travellers: do factor in some time to relax and spend time at the hotel. The hotel grounds are amazing, and there are plenty of places to rest and relax. Hammocks by the river, the indoor heated pool, spending time with the alpacas and llamas. We just loved it all.

Great host, comfortable rooms, and beautiful patio. We got here 'by accident' because of our altitude sickness in Cusco and loved this place right from the start! Amazing view from the roof terrace! The rooms were clean and had everything we needed (including a bluetooth speaker overhead light?), beds were comfy and warm with lots of blankets. Breakfast was plentiful and Marcela was so friendly and helpful. The location is great as well.
