Located in Khasab, Atana Musandam Resort offers modern accommodations with views of the sea. It offers free WiFi in all areas, a fitness centre and an outdoor pool.
Perched on a rock face, this resort offers panoramic views of the spectacular Musandam shoreline. It offers an outdoor pool and an on-site diving school with professional instructors.
Lake Hotel is located in Mūkhī. With free WiFi, this 1-star hotel offers free shuttle service and a 24-hour front desk. Guests can enjoy mountain views.
There is nothing much to do in the town. You will have to stick to the resort and a couple of beaches. But if you choose the right resort, you can spend some quality time. But the annoying thing was that there was a new rule that came into picture that you cannot take your vehicle if it is under mortgage. So everyone should be aware of it.

There isn’t a lot to do here, but the drive alone is worth the trip. A dhow trip is a great, relaxing way to see more of the natural beauty of the coast (unfortunately the boats are giant stinkpots emitting diesel pollution into beautiful waters). The dolphins love to play with the bow wake. Take a book and enjoy.
The fort is really interesting! Easy to visit, plenty to learn.

The best experience was a full day dhow trip, the scenery is stunning and it's also fun to travel in a dhow. The snorkelling is ok but nothing compared with other coastal areas of Oman. Unfortunately, as a solo traveller I wasn't able to join in any other trips (which require a minimum group size of 4 people). I didn't have a car so getting around is not easy (no taxis!). The local beach, Bassa, is quite good for a swim if you can ignore the horrendous plastic bottle pollution which is present everywhere in Oman.

Khasab is a nice place but you don't have many places to explore. I would recommend 1-night stay if you go from Dubai...2nd day you can book a half-day cruise which is more than enough don't go for a full-day cruise it will turn into a boring day.

Its a lovely quiet rustic place with nothing much to see or do, You can drive around the area which is very scenic if you love mountains ! Its a lovely place to unwind and fade into oblivion and drive around however I would suggest if you are particular about food which carry something along. We tried to go to one of the wadi's but the road was not developed. Work is still on! Stay at the Khasab resort and travel around the coastline which is a beautiful drive ! Also there is some diving, snorkeling and dhow cruise that you can opt for!

Khasab is a fantastic place to visit with family and friends but at suitable weather. Food facilities are very less as I couldnt find even any fast food chain. Border crossing at Omani side (both enter & exit) time was hectic, bit unorganized and time consuming. UAE side was perfectly fine. May be it is due to rush days (Eid days) but authorities should have managed it properly.
Dhow cruise was just amazing. We used services of Khasab Sea Tours. Staff was friendly and very cooperative.
Its a basic hotel but better than some places in that area with the same price.
It has pool but that is small & not that great
Food we had breakfast, which was also ok nothing too fancy
the ferry/ dhow places are just nearby so you can either go to their office or book on call
Lulu is a bit far from this place but not far if you have your own car
Overall was nice experience in that amount & even its second best option i would say in that place after Atana.
I like nothing in that hotel except the staff was very good and friendly. but the property was very poor compared with the money we payed. The breakfast was Indian like no other guests in the property we couldn't have the breakfast and unfortunately we payed for it on our booking. toilet have no hot water we called the reception the send stoff but nothing happened we ended taking cold showers.
-Big spacious room. I stayed in a king room with seaview and the rate was way cheaper compared to hotels in Muscat. The sea was a bit further away but the view was great especially at sunrise.
-hotel is just a stone's throw away from different dhow tour operators
-staff was great and helpful
-wifi was working, water heater and a/c as well
-free airport pickup and drop off
The hotel is in good location at the centre of everything and is well maintained. Hotel staff all are wonderful , especially the Omani girls at the front desk. Thanks, they all made us our stay enjoyable and memorable!
The breakfast was good and I enjoyed the swimming pool.
We will of course, stay again when we visit Khasab next time.
The location is great. I rent a two bedroom apartment with a living room, kitchen - rooms are big with two double beds. My kids are happy with the hotel and room. Hotel staff are super friendly and helpful. They even checked with us before our arrival, share advise and hints for what to do at the border & migration processes.
I stayed as a single person for an overnight visit. It was the perfect size and space for what I needed. The room was spotless & clean, and the owner was professional and friendly. He went over and beyond to help make my stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this motel for anyone visiting Khasab.
Room alloted for us was on ground floor, so no view of canal. We had asked for a better view room, but didn't get. Then unfortunately there was power break in Khasab so no power at all. Breakfast was good. Pool may be since there was no power water was not filterated.
Khasab is a very interesting place, the hotel is centrally located, the staff was very friendly, the breakfast was nice, and I loved the sound of the birds!
