The host was great, helpful and friendly. After my tiring hike took me to the restaurant by car and next day much further (to Bahla) than the standard drop-off point. He was also very knowledgeable about hiking routes. There is also a lot if information material available.
Room was spacious (even if it was full it would still be comfortable) and clean, so was the rest of the apartment. Kitchen is well-equipped. Views from my window were ok, nice mountain view, but also some building sites close by. Location was great for me, but it is not in the old Al-Hamra.

The location is great because in the middle of an old oasis and village. The very valuable thing of this hotel is that the owner (Abdulah) is on the premises ( while in most hotels the employees are indians), he knows his village and will take you through it and everything becomes so interesting and authentic !
