It's a stunning location, with great views. We really enjoyed our stay here, Peter and Michelle were awesome hosts and very welcoming. Excellent breakfast with eggs from their own chickens, and spinach picked straight from the garden, all served with great coffee too. It was special to hand feed the deer too, something you can't get anywhere else! It was only a short drive through pretty countryside to Taupo township, where we went for dinner. Nice to stay in a new location near town with a different perspective and view of the lake.

This was a last minute booking for a holiday weekend and I was so glad everywhere was booked. This hotel was amazing. The room was spotlessly clean, the beds were super comfy with a big screen TV and the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.
