The whole glamping experience was awesome, and the fact it's only a 2-3 minute drive from the lakes was even better. We were in the tui tent and the shared facilities were spot on.
Julie welcomed us when we arrived and honestly all you need is your own food. The BBQ kitchen and utensils are all there for use which put me at ease cause we had no cutlery lol

The location is very good, quiet yet close to the beach. The view of the waves from the lounge and master bedroom is very pleasant.

Lovely setting, convenient to NZ's last remaining stands of the magnificent kauri forests. We went on the night time Kiwi walk but failed to see NZ's famous flightless birds, possibly due to the full moon. Only issue was the Wifi kept falling down.

A lovely place to visit for peace and tranquility.
A lovely place to visit for peace and tranquility. You need to provide all your own food and drink and definitely need some transport such as a car to get around. Next time I visit, I will bring books to read and make sure I bring enough provisions.
This is a cabin in a holiday park rather than a motel. The grounds are exceptional and the staff very aware of the native fauna and flora; an experience not to be missed. You need to carry in your own food as the nearest hotel (Kaihu) has limited hours.
