Highly recommend this homestay it actually felt like home. Kamal and his family are unbelievably kind and welcoming, creating a comfortable safe environment and always there to help and assist with more I could of imagined. The rooms are spotless clean, comfortable beds, hot water, quiet environment and they also make the best food so it makes it so convenient to just eat in.
They gave me lift to wherever I needed, offered to give me a tour to the attractions surrounding and helped me book my bus ticket to Pokhara.
This is one of the best places I’ve stayed, thank you so much 🙏🏽

The host was friendly/helpful, she made us great meals, screens on windows, nice towels, shower had warm water. (Note: the pink room on top floor has a US full size bed. The purple room on the floor below had a US twin bed, full bed and a nice patio.)

The owner was super nice, and the room was very reasonable. It’s not their fault since I booked a fan room during the hottest month in Nepal, and that decision was not a good one since it was super hot. I will definitely stay in an AC room next time. All in all, I had a great time staying there.

People are friendly and helpful. The palace and temples are good places to visit.

Just like any such cities houses are one below other on the walls of mountain. we had been to Bhairavastan 10 km from tansen, we wanted to visit ranimahal but cud not visit for want of time. the views of nature and mountains from the places is really worth seeing

Tansen is a very friendly traditional mountain town, no tourist pretence here, a working Nepal town, for a true Nepal experience. Lots of winding streets with culture and small scale commerce, with a lovely pine forest above the town with views over central Nepal and the Himalayas.
