When the owner told me I can feel like at home, I thought it is a figure of polite speech. I am not a sentimental person, but I ended up missing the lovely family who runs the place.
Comfortable beds, quiet, good hot water, wifi is there and good, delicious and cheap meals. It is more than I expected. Thank you so much for making my stay so memorable!

Def a place to visit while being in Nepal, but I somehow got the feeling that the locality has lost a lot of its soul with increasing commercialization of tourism. I heard that before all the tourist lodges were built, Rhino could regularly be seen in Sauraha itself.
Recommend to visit, maybe for 2-3 nights at best.

July and august are not tourist season in Nepal
That why chitwan park is closed while other side parks are open
Also hotel and restaurant are not well prepared because it’s off season period
Also one single advantage is area is not crowded

A lovely town that has more more to offer than the National Park.
You could easily spent a day or two visiting surroundiings on a bike or even by foot.
Or spent some hours along the river side. or just walk up and down the main road in the village..
We arrived in chitwan with nothing planned. We arrived at this beautiful accommodation with a magical garden, where they literally took care of everything for us. They planned our safari tour (jeep tour, coneoning, jungle walk, tower night stay, elephant bath and elephant safari). They also prepared an amazing packed lunch and dinner for the above activities. Very helpful staff and delicious food. We really recommend staying in this accommodation. And manager of this hotel Mr.suraz very polite and clam. Thank you for everything.
So much to like. The warm smiles from the staff whenever you walk up to reception or see them in the property, the view from pretty much anywhere on the property, the clean rooms, the tasty food, the sounds of the nature around you, the quietness due to not being so close to the main street, the friendly guests who we were able to meet, the stories and useful information from their in-house jungle guide, and so much more. We had a fantastic stay and if we ever come back to Chitwan, we're coming straight to Bamby House!
The Hotel owner and all the staffs were very friendly and helpful. We really had enjoyed our stay with them. BBQ night was excellent, we had a great time with our family. Pick up and drop service from Tourist Bus stop with extra charge was very comfortable and easy for us. We got all the answers and help for whatever we asked for. We would like to thanks the whole team of Chitwan Gaida lodge. We will definitely visit you again if we happen to come to Chitwan.
Best Regards
Nikki, Ralph and family
The staff made us feel like we are part of their family. We felt at home. :) Rajendra, Rajkumar and the rest of the team were always available to help us and took care of everything. One of our highlights was clearly our walking tours with Jagat. Highly recommend that you do the jungle tour and walking tour in the community forest with him. We had the best experience at Chitwan Village Resort we could ever have hoped for. Hoping to be back again in the near future.
The staff were super friendly and so helpful and really made the trip to Chitwan super special.
The owner took us on a half day walking trip in the jungle and we learned so much about the plants and animals. He also organised a jeep trip in the afternoon.
Ghanga very kindly went to town and got some lights for us to take home as we loved the ones in the room. Nothing was too much trouble.
The hotel was lovely with very spacious rooms and a very comfy bed.
It's first time in Chitwan and we made the right choice to chose this hotel as our home. We really enjoy the river view, jungle, animals along the river. Everything was perfect for us. The hotel staff was very friendly and take care of us and also woke us up in the early morning for spotted the wild animal. We would definitely come again. One more thing, we really happy to see the Rhino for our good memory there.
My room met all my needs for my stay in Chitwan. The family of the guest house was extremely kind and helpful. I was able to book a Jeep safari through the guesthouse along with my bus ticket back to Katmandu. Breakfast was yummy in the morning and walking to town is a short distance away. Felt very safe being a solo female traveler. I even got to see a rhino walking up the street.
The staff was superb and made our stay exeptional. During our Chitwan safari we even had a waiter, pleasant and professional, serving us well-prepared dishes and our tour was very well organised. Our dinner in the hotel restaurant also met our highest expectations. Our room was clean and even nicer than displayed in the pictures. We do recommend this hotel to everybody.
We stayed for 3 nights at hotel national park chitwan and had a wonderful time! The rooms are very nice, the breakfast/food is excellent but the most amazing is the hospitality of the owner! He is always there for you and organized amazing tours for us in chitwan national park!
Go there!!!
Their host are the best of the place. The hotel is running by a family. All of them are very kind, always care about the comfort and how to make your stay better. The place is lovely and the rooms are big, comfy and clean. If you are looking for a place in Chitwan, this is a great place.

Overall experience at vista Chitwan was incredible I enjoyed staying , Breakfast and typical thali set was super good . Owner helped me with safari and other services . we could see elephants just by side of hotels and enjoy watching them from the garden.
I like Hotel Butterfly a lot. It was a nice, relaxing place to stay with good service and nice food. The walking tour to Chitwan National Park that they arranged was great with excellent guides. 👍👍👍👍👍
Very unique place, different from anywhere else you'll stay in Chitwan. Beautifully built bamboo rooms, cool vibe, relaxed, good Nepali craft beer and also easy to arrange tours from there.
Great welcome, very friendly staff who helped organise very good tours of Chitwan National Park, with excellent guides. We were so close to the river and the Rhinos
