Staying in Barang with Kabi's family was the highlight of our 4 weeks in Nepal. Ama and Baba were so welcoming, and they showed us so much about village life in Nepal. We were invited to help with cooking and farmwork, so we learned alot. Our favourite part was sitting in the kitchen to have meals together (by the way, all meals are included). We will always cherish our memories of Barang and can't wait to visit again one day.

The hotel gives good view of the Annapurna mountain ranges. The staff were nice and the room was clean. The room had a balcony for the mountain view and luckily we did catch a glimpse of Mount Annapurna as the weather was always foggy. The bed also had a electrical heater mattress. The food in the restaurant was also tasty. Overall out stay was good. The manager Mr Gurung was kind enough to correct an accounting mistake in our bill post our checkout. And we received the amount. Thanks Mr Gurung and Mr Dai.

This homestay experience is one that I won’t soon forget and was easily one of the highlights of my time spent in Nepal. I am so grateful to have experienced KB, TJB’s and Chandrakali’s warmth and hospitality. I will cherish this time indefinitely and hope to return in the future. They grow their own tea which resembles Darjeeling tea but has its own unique taste and flavor - I highly recommend to try it.
