Its an amazing place in the middle of nowhere, perfect to relax and detach from the fast paced everyday world. The house is beautiful, clean and quite spacious. We were there just as a couple with a dog ;) but Im sure it can easily hold a bigger group of people too. Contact with the owner was super easy and really helpful (mentioned below). We were there in winter and we found Tuddals Joker to be the best shop for supplies and fire wood (definitely the cheapest offer). With the fresh snow 4x4 car turned out really useful in the area.

A lovely hotel to stay on the way further up Norway. More to do in the winter as it's a ski resort. Great breakfast and friendly personel. After a tip from one of them we went on a 15 mins drive up to Tuddal to Tuddal Hotel for coffee and dessert with a view to remember on a lake side. Because of the weather we never got to go on the trein up the Gaustatoppen. Take a visit to Rjukan to see the museum Vemork about Heavy water., very interesting.
