The property had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, TV worked fully including Netflix and had all facilities. Was very easy to find and directly over the road from the station. Very accessible. Really lovely stay and the host comminicated well and could t do more in terms of helping!

If you want to see wild Nordic landscapes, or experience the buzz of a city, you won't find either in Tønsberg. However, if what you want is a quiet few days somewhere pleasant, with the conveniences of shops, cafés and restaurants thrown in, you'll find Tønsberg to be a very nice place.

It's a really pretty city on the Norwegian coastline between Sandefjord-Torp Airport and Oslo. Stayed got a few days on the way back to the airport and it was all lovely (would recommend the taj mahal curry restaurant as well for food).

There were lots of great restaurants by the water. Most people speak English to there is no language barrier here. Unless you have a car to go outside of town I would not stay more than a few days. If you don't mind taking the train everywhere then Tonsberg can be a nice base city from which to travel to other cities in the area.
I was welcomed by friendly staff. The room had a good size with simple furnishing but everything you need for a short stay, I was positively surprised by the breakfast buffet. This offered a great choice from healthy options, fruits and salads to a selection of different breads, cold cuts and variations of egg, potatoes, bacon, sausages and meat balls. All presented in a spacious setup. Public paid parking is right at the hotel with direct access to the hotel.
Uncomplicated check in with a code. The room is very comfortable and you have everything you need.
There is a cozy sitting area on the ground floor and I can recommend the WH Cafe - especially the kanelboller 😁
I didn't use it this time but there is also a parking area right next to the hotel!
I have stayed here many times before and will definitely come back again.
The apartment is super cosy, and very well equiped for a small family of 3, with almost everything one might need (a microwave would be useful upgrade).
The location is superb, on walking distance from all the iconic places in Tønsberg.
The owner is friendly and available, we are greatful.

Beautifully decorated room with fabulous views of the harbour. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The bathroom floor was heated! The hotel is on the boardwalk with all the best restaurants & within walking distance of trains, buses, boats, museums. Very pretty city! The location is ideal, very close to the train station and the center, and right onto the water. The hotel is very clean and modern inside, the common areas are very spacious and inviting. The breakfast buffet was exceptionnal, the staff extremely friendly and available.
Really good place in the city because just leaving the hotel and in oposite side of rad there is a shore of sea with restaurants and good view. Really good view from window in room with sea view. Everything was clean and comfortable, perfect place for short stay.
Great location in the middle of Tønsberg, just a few minutes walk from shops and restaurants along the harbour. Good beds and a decent living room with a TV and a large couch. Own kitchen means you can cook your own dinner if you prefer.

Underground parking is handy but expensive. There is is local parking close by.
Everything was amazing, such a sweet family that owns the hotel. It was a perfect way to begin our Norway experience. We took the train and easily walked (4 children and luggage).
