This hotel is in the same building as Stiklestad National Culture Center, 10 minutes’ drive from Verdalsøra and the Trondheimsfjord. It offers fine dining, free WiFi and free private parking.

We did not visit Straumen, but only stayed at the hotel.
We did not visit Straumen, but only stayed at the hotel. That was a mistake, since the Gjegtvolden Hotel restaurant was not staffed for a fully booked hotel and dinner guests. Our recommendation is to take a walk to Straumen and dine there instead.
